PSA: Be careful. Remember you sending everything the transmission puts out to the rear axle only now. Which effectively doubles the torque and stress on that axle when in a bind. 2LO can absolutely get you out of a few jams. But forgetting the physics can also net you a broken axle...
2022 at round 20k miles. No warranty, though. Or I would have let Jeep fix this mess.
Haven't been in the diffs yet. Figured I go there in the next month or two.
Took the advice you got from z-locker.
Started at the front. Removed the Z-Locker, inspected the pins. And just left it off and plugged the stock wire harness back in.
Tested lockers - failed for both rear only and rear+front (same perpetual flashing icon)
Moved to rear next...
BEWARE cheap hood protectors. Apparently, not all VHB tape is made equal.
Bought a cheap Temu bug deflector for precisely the reason you point to.
It fit great. But 3 days later at highway speed it broke off. I would have stopped to salvage it but half of it came loose first and the...
As both dealer and manufacturer myself, I can say that the reason most manufacturers even HAVE dealers is because they want to be insulated from talking directly with customers as much as possible. Otherwise, they'd just sell direct.
which is not as negative as it first sounds. Staffing to...
I call it “Bushman” because that’s where I spend a lot of time. And , as everyone knows, the bush comes alive at night.
And If the weather is too nasty for even Rudolph any year, Santa KNOWS he can count on the Bushman to make it …
So I started getting the service axle locker soon error on the dash. Didn't know if it was front or rear causing it so I bought two of those bypass cables. Installed on both axles. The service locker message is now gone from the dash but when I try to engage the lockers I just get a...
Man.....I haven't seen 16 since.....well.....I've NEVER seen 16 😂
Maybe it's the 35's. Maybe it's the mountains I live in. Maybe it's my right foot. Maybe its all of the above. But 14's 'bout as good as it gets for me. Usually 13 something.
But economy wasn't the reason I bought...
Personally, I'd give the supercharger a spin (pun intended) if my goals were same as OP. But the pact I've made with myself is to just accept the Glad for what it is. Warts and all.
UNLESS I'm one of the unlucky few to get the dreaded tick of death. As I have no warranty - at that point...
Your rights? What rights? Did you miss the part about "the world today may look nothing like the world tomorrow"? Except for "the data", that is. Oh yeah. Your data lives forever!
Here is probably a better analogy than German Jews or American Japanese.: why do we (as a country)...
"I have nothing to hide" assumes that what you "have" does not need to be hidden. And that is probably true. Today. But can you say that will always be true? the concepts of "crime" or "deviance" are societal constructs and are always changing.
this is cliche and overly dramatic...
How can you keep a straight face while calling somebody's estimate "ridiculous" and then following up with ridiculous lines like "nothing is a lifetime vehicle" and then comparing replacement costs to some random ICE engine an an attempt run to up the price? I don't have EV power today. Why...
So, it's a Ford Bronco that takes half an hour to gas up.
Also owning a Bronco, I don't hate the look of this. If they made a 2 door, it might even get me to experiment with driving an EV for the first time. But we'll never know because Jeep gives no love to a 2 door these days...
Dude, you might wanna reconsider that next time you buy.
It doesn't just hit the brakes for you. It adjusts your speed automatically when you have the cruise control set. If you've ever been annoyed at the guy in front of you that keeps speeding up, slowing down, speeding up, slowing down...
I suppose one can assume that ANY used Jeep is likely to have been in deep water. The question you should be asking is, "would I rather have a Jeep that has been in deep water WITH a snorkel, or without one?" 😉
Regardless, the truth is that 99% of snorkel users never actually ford deep...
