  1. Snorkel advice

I installed a snork on my Gladiator but went with the "through the cowling" style so no cutting required. However - years ago I installed a "cut the hood" style snorkel on my JK. Cutting wasn't bad or even that scary (there is a flange with a good half inch lip so that hides a lot of sin)...
  2. Fun way to make an AI picture of your Jeep - Try This:

I was a little surprised that so many of you have scale models of your Gladiators. But what really blows my mind is that you all also have the original box and round acrylic bases for them to sit on (even the guy that has that tiny round acrylic base) I was trained on how to do "The Wave"...
  3. Which start stop eliminator is best?

I picked up the cheapest one I could find off Temu and it works just fine. Which implies - they all probably work just fine. One note I always make to people asking this question again: think ahead. I did not. So I got the ASS eliminator. Then I rigged up a custom relay to my license...
  4. Bed height / side extension from Exceedfab

Since you asked.... IM(not so)HO: There is zero chance of developing this product and keeping the cost within your stated goal. That said, making storage boxes along the length of it will increase cost - but also perceived value. In other words, instead of trying to make it cheaper - make...
  5. We made it to the bottom of the WORLD!

Are you unconcerned about the safety of your family in some of these crossings? I have long dreamed of driving to Argentina but the info about safe routes seems to change weekly. e.g. there once was a time Ecuador was considered a peaceful country but these days....not so much. How do you...
  6. stellantis Poll v-8 gladiator

I’m sure an emergency board meeting has been convened right now: “this poll proves it! If we can just do the impossible, we’ll sell 100 vehicles!”
  7. Still trying to chase wind hiss noise inside.

"blowing smoke all over the place" is a rather crude way of describing it. As my ex used to say, "I don't need to blow anything". (hence why she is my ex, but I digress) Just light it and allow it to get going. Then have somebody else drive while you surgically wave the lit cigar near...
  8. Still trying to chase wind hiss noise inside.

A fine cigar is, not only manna from heaven, but an effective wind hiss noise diagnostic tool. But please. For the love of all that is good and right: Don't spend less than $10 on it. (I would recommend a Nicaraguan blend from Cuban seed)
  9. How Much Did You Pay For Your Gladiator

Got it from an insurance auction with a salvage title. Only 10K miles. Previous owner rolled it on the drivers side. Slow rollover offroad - just sheetmetal and glass damage. Amazing what insurance companies will "total" these days. Only put about $5K (and a s-load of sweat equity)...
  10. Was the Driver a Member? [⚠️ Admin Warning: NO POLITICS]

Road rage is just the dumbest of the dumber than dumb. One man dead. Another facing tens of thousands in legal bills and years behind bars. All because someone you don't even know and will never see again disrespected you. Not worth it, people. I settle for just telling my wife, "look...
  11. What is this top? Can't find anywhere!

I’n not sure I’ve ever seen that top. In fact, I’m still not seeing it…..
  12. Energizer and Jeep Team Up on Lightning Products

“After 2 seconds in mode next mode will be Off” ^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^ Sick of those Chinese flashlights that you gotta click 6 times to turn off (and you always click 7 times accidentally, starting the count all over again)
  13. How Much Did You Pay For Your Gladiator

    2022 Rubi: Paid $18,000 in October 2024
  14. Mopar Ducks.

The love of children is a normal human instinct. It only has sexual connotations to abnormal humans.
  15. KAAAAPOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!

FYI - disconnecting both batteries was a good first diagnostic, but to be thorough you need to leave them disconnected for 5 or 10 minutes. There are devices in the electrical system that retain a charged state. So to truly REBOOT them, give it some time after disconnecting the batteries...
  16. GMRS

I am NOT a ham - but I think what you are describing is CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) which is an inaudible tone you and your buddies can set when you broadcast. Others can then filter out all other radio traffic and just listen for signals matching that tone. Sort of a "I...
  17. GMRS

it's not the license that bothers me - it's constantly having to say "this is BR549..." Even if I had the license, I wouldn't do that crap and neither does anybody else. which begs the question: why am I paying for a license?
