I have 3 grand daughters (GD) and they all really enjoy ducking the other jeeps. A few months back during the summer we rode out and passed out 20+ ducks. So, now every time they visit, they want to go out ducking. My 5yo GD really enjoyed it so much she wanted to buy some ducks herself to...
When I picked up my 2020 JTR in July, the previous owner had an extended warranty that is a 7yr/100K. I paid the transfer fee $45 and it covers mine through 9/26. He purchased through Jeep when he bought it 9/2019, the dealership has the information and invited me down to bring it in this...
I have a Wrangler and Gladiator. I've enjoyed the Wrangler for many years but missed the bed of a truck, so the Gladiator was my next purchase this past summer. I didn't have the automatic top Wrangler, but on the Gladiator I have the sunrider soft top that is very nice on many days. Like the...
I also looked at multiple JT's when I was looking to purchase back in the summer. I looked at new and used at different locations within a few hundred miles of my house. I drove multiple JT's - Sports (dealer modified), Overland, Willys, High Altitude, Mojave, and Rubicon's. It finally came...
I have a 2013 JKU that I gave my 16yo son. I drive it every so often, but go back and enjoy the ride of my JTR. The JTR is on 37's and the JKU is on 35' but the JTR ride is much smoother and comfortable. It is longer, but not an issue. The JKU just tripped 118K miles and the oil housing unit...
Looks great, my first truck was a 1967 Chevrolet C-10. I had it painted 67 Corvette red and then had the white wagon wheels installed. I really loved the look of the white wheels. Nice looking, enjoy.
I've owned a Ridgeline. I kept it for a few years, but I like to make a vehicle my own and it was limited with the Ridgeline. I changed the wheels and that was about it, but it was a few years back. The ride was smoother, and we did take it on a few trips from VA to FL a few times without any...
Well, here is one for you. I'm at the local Sheetz getting gas about a month after I bought my JTR, last month. I'm pumping gas as a really nice Mercedes (I think it was the new 2023 SL43 roadster) pulls in behind me, the guy gets out and starts talking to me about my jeep. I chat with him and...
I just sold my 2016 Wrangler (with low mileage) to a local dealership. All my mods (lift, exhaust, air intake, amp power steps, bumpers, wheels/tires) were left on. I took the winch off as I had just purchased it. They gave me more due to the mods I had installed, the sales manager provided me...
Thanks for the information, I ran AMP Steps on my Wrangler and we just installed the AMP on my wife's 2023 Bronco, but I'll take a look at the Rough Country. The steps on mine aren't the greatest and my shoe's slip on them getting out.
I went with a 3-inch drop, 2-inch ball. With the trailer hooked up and completely filled my Gladiator was still level and the trailer was level. It was towed from Midlothian, VA to Blacksburg, VA (193 miles) without any issues whatsoever. Oh, I didn't care about gas mileage. The trip back was a...
Thanks for the suggestion. I went on line to Desert Does It - got the discount code and ordered the drivers side for mine. Will hopefully be in before I make the trip across Virginia to drop my daughter off at college (VT).
I just use regular paint remover, Goof Off overspray remover and acetone. I put the jeep in a plastic container, brush on the paint remover and then wait. I learned my lesson when I painted over a few decals and you can see the outline.
I've done more than a few modified Jeep Wrangler's (changed paint, larger tires/suspension, and monster truck jeeps) over the past few years as my wife and I both have/had Wranglers. I have the gladiator now and I've gotten a few toys recently, working on this one now converting it to red from...
