I've done more than a few modified Jeep Wrangler's (changed paint, larger tires/suspension, and monster truck jeeps) over the past few years as my wife and I both have/had Wranglers. I have the gladiator now and I've gotten a few toys recently, working on this one now converting it to red from the current pain scheme.

What are you using to strip the paint/graphics?

I just use regular paint remover, Goof Off overspray remover and acetone. I put the jeep in a plastic container, brush on the paint remover and then wait. I learned my lesson when I painted over a few decals and you can see the outline.

I was afraid to use the normal stuff for my hot wheels on the plastic! Sounds like it'll be OK though. Thanks for the assist!

Found one at my local Walmart as well this morning! I'm not sure i was aware this was coming out. The detail under the hood and all around is pretty nice!

You guys get the Matchbox Gladiator diesel model?
Comes with a coupon for a fuel pump at a later date.

How do you know if your Matchbox Gladiator has a standard transmission? There’s a display model, but they won’t sell you one.

Why can’t you take a Matchbox Gladiator model outdoors?
A small rock will appear out of nowhere and crack your windshield.

How do you know your Matchbox Gladiator was officially licensed by Jeep?
It doesn’t have a V8.

Why is half of the Matchbox Wrangler display covered up and empty?
To help us pretend the 4xe isn’t half of all the Wrangler sales.
