  1. Paint peeling on hood latch

Not just going to the dealer first (as I did) but insist that they check before sending you elsewhere. Sometimes dealers need all the help they can get to do they right thing.
  2. Paint peeling on hood latch

Yeah that's kind of the reason I posted it. If it happens to anyone else they can have the dealer check twice before the run around. It could be a unique problem but I wouldn't doubt that if one wasn't primed correctly there could be a whole batch.
  3. Paint peeling on hood latch

You can read but mainly just going the paint shop route only to fine out then that it's a replacement issue. Dealers either aren't being giving necessary information or the dealer dropped the ball. It should have been a two day issue at most instead of All together 1-2 months to get fixed.
  4. Paint peeling on hood latch

I just wanted to give a heads up for others that might have the same problem. About a year into ownership of my JT the paint started peeling on the hood latch. It was covered under warranty but still wasn't a simple process. First they told be to bring it in to look at it (about 30 miles)...
  5. Am I the only one who thinks Jeep should’ve included an in dash CD player?

Correct, but I'll also add that the bars on the phone doesn't indicate " bandwidth saturation " either. You can be standing beside a tower and still have awful internet speed/access due to the ISP's network being over used at the time. Occurs all the time at football games, concerts and beaches.
  6. Am I the only one who thinks Jeep should’ve included an in dash CD player?

I'm with you on that. I would be totally pissed off thinking I paid for CD player in a new car.
  7. Phone Solutions

For those that have wireless phone charging, do you get a message that the "unsupported device"? I tried on the other day and it kept sending a message like this to my screen. Just wondering others have had the same problem.
  8. Am I the only one who thinks Jeep should’ve included an in dash CD player?

Hadn't used the CD in my last vehicle in years. Even with 6 CD changer, trying to plan what you're going to feel like listening to so you don't have the change the CD during a trip was a pain. To me there is nothing like having a nearly unlimited ability to pick anything on the fly. I'll...

  10. Brake applies when door is open

Most likely it didn't have anything to do with "Big Brother Gov" watching over you. The Anton Yelchin family sued Fiat and settled out of court. While we love to blame "Big Brother" most "safety" features/changes come from companies tired of being sued for unsafe products. It's cheaper to add...
  11. another windshield bites the dust

That's was the same thing they told me. Also that they had to order one and it would take awhile. I was just wondering if they ordered the Wrangler version instead of the Glad version. Good to know that they're one in the same if I was spending extra on it. However I would have paid the extra...
  12. another windshield bites the dust

Thanks, I could have sworn that it was a glad before but I guess I was just seeing things.
  13. another windshield bites the dust

I have a replacement windshield and I noticed that the little jeep in the bottom right hand corner isn't a gladiator but a Wrangler. Is that the way they came originally or just because of the replacement glass? Not a big deal and I can live with it but I just was wondering and thought if...
  14. another windshield bites the dust

Is there a doc on that? I understand that the windshield folds down etc, but the refraction can change with every piece of glass. Others in the forum have stated they saw watch them changed the numbers using the iPad...

  16. another windshield bites the dust
