  1. Sirius XM issues - current

I don't know if this has been post before but I thought I"d share. I don't know if this works on all radios or not. If you’re ready to reset your UConnect 8.4 system, follow the steps below: Ensure your vehicle is in park and in “Run” mode. Press and hold down the volume and tuner knob...
  2. Sirius XM issues - current

I had several/couple problems with my head unit also, nothing would come on. Others have commented they have too. If I remember correctly turning to AM cleared the problem. It hasn't done it in a while but I don't know if the firmware was updated OTA or not. If it's still under warranty I...
  3. Sirius XM issues - current

That would be my guess also. Depending on where someone is located the satellite maybe very low in the sky.
  4. Wireless Android Auto adapter finally here

Not arguing (I thought I stated that), I'm just stating that if someone has new cables and it still doesn't work they might try a few others (even older) because even a $17 cable doesn't insure that it will work. Also they might check to make sure that they are using "data cables" (even if...
  5. Wireless Android Auto adapter finally here

Not saying you're wrong, but "picky" just doesn't mean "new, quality, etc". I've tried new/quality "data" cables that are real flaky as well. As a matter of fact the one that works the best for me is an old cheap cable with a USB C adapter on it. It could be my phone's usb port however (samsung...
  6. Possible Shortage of “good oil” Coming

Buying 1000L instead of 350L is a good way to create a shortage if there wasn't a real one. I bet some salesman is laughing is way to the bank.
  7. How do you know you need a dual battery setup?

Couldn't you charge the Jackery from the JT while under power? I've always kind of worry about use using a vehicle to power anything while not running.
  8. Adaptive Cruise Control: yay or nay?

Statically it's the driver having control that's the problem not the car or computer. No one ever gets in a car thinking they'll need help driving (well maybe a few do, lol).
  9. Overland Wheel/Tire upgrade combo suggestions

There are a lot of combinations on here and I appreciate all the comments. I've tried to narrow it down a little and see if I'm correct. 275/65/18 285/75/18 295/70/18 All seems to have put on stock (maybe new wheels) without any problem. Am I correct? Does anyone of any experience with these...
  10. Have you found a convenient spot in the gladiator for your wallet.

True, but many times these products go by many different brands, names etc. Good point however.
  11. Have you found a convenient spot in the gladiator for your wallet.

I just got one of these just not for my wallet but it would work. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JLPDV3Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cheap and easy to remove if it gets in the way. I also have one of the grab handles tray which would work for a wallet. Both so...
  12. Adaptive Cruise Control: yay or nay?

As others have said I wouldn't want to drive any distance without it. It's not perfect (it will keep slowing down after a turning car has left your lane if you're close enough), but anything to keep from putting CC on and taking it off all the time. On a long trip you may never have to really...
  13. Lift or no lift? New wheels or are stock ones OK?

What about Overland's 18 inch wheels, would that make any differences on needing a lift or not?
  14. Heater/defroster temperature control is TERRIBLE...anyone else have the same issue?

Here's an example of what happened two days ago. The temp outside was around 67, inside the temp (on auto) was at 72. Felt a little cool so I turned the temp up to 74 and it's starts blowing cold air. I waited a few minutes thinking it was blowing the cold air out of the vents but it kept...
  15. Heater/defroster temperature control is TERRIBLE...anyone else have the same issue?

I've had the same problem. Sometimes "auto" seems to work best other times doing it with fan control is the only way to get anywhere near what you what. It doesn't seem like it should be rocket science. They're not the first vehicle with Heat/AC.
  16. Gladiator demographics POLL! Why did you buy a Gladiator?

I'm retired and live at the beach so "daily driver" is kind of a reach. I've had it over a year and only have a little over 7k on it. But it is the one i take if not in the golf cart or wife's vehicle.
  17. any eyes on the CFP tonight?

I may catch the score later but won't watch. I think they use "playoff" or "championship" kind of loosely. I think they could just have Oprah say "you get a championship and you get a championship", lol.
  18. Phone Solutions

Thanks, I can't see the need but it does make a good phone holder for android auto and charging. Too bad they didn't put wireless charging in it or a retractable usb, but maybe later.
  19. Phone Solutions

Not disagreeing but does it say that in the manual and why would anyone put want to put a key fob in it? I must be using mine wrong. Thanks
