I don't know if this has been post before but I thought I"d share. I don't know if this works on all radios or not.


If you’re ready to reset your UConnect 8.4 system, follow the steps below:

1. Ensure your vehicle is in park and in “Run” mode.
2. Press and hold down the volume and tuner knob buttons at the same time.
3. Hold down the knobs for 10 – 20 seconds.
4. After holding down the knobs, the screen should flash your vehicle brand name and then go dark.
5. After a few moments the brand name will return, the system will reinitialize, and it will return you to the main UConnect screen.

The above instructions are for a soft reset of your UConnect 8.4 system, this type of reset will help with bluetooth connectivity issues, minor navigation issues, and minor glitches in the UConnect system without wiping your presets.

Been having the same issue. Drive the same roads with my wife's trackhawk and no problems, but the JT reception (no roof rack) is comparably worse driving the exact same roads. Hard to make it a SXM issue when two vehicles have different reception. I have even had it cut out with no trees, wide open highway driving....it's bat crazy it is...
