If you haven’t already, check Tirerack.com. They basically carry every tire made, great prices and they have recommendation installers in most areas they drop ship to. They’re owned by Discount Tire now but often have better prices by a few dollars. And btw, they’ll ship to Discount as well.

Nobody is ever satisfied with trade in value. But when you consider you’re never going to get your money back on upgrades and accessories, their offer is probably not all that bad. Private sale will always bring considerably better money than trading it in. But yea, it’s a PITA.
