I was told it would work on any 8.4 system. I installed mine in the front bumper.

There’s a couple options out there now to paint or wrap the dash if you don’t like whatever color you end up with. Seems to run about $300.

Tried to lock the wheels at varying speeds today with no luck. At a dead stop they will lock in 2H and 4H.

I was at a dead stop. I’ll have to try it a varying speeds.

You might try doing another full reboot. I had a few features that didn’t seem to work at first... after the third reboot, everything including the lockers in 4H seem to be working.

I didn’t find a how to video but the written instructions from z automotive were informative enough to complete the install. There are a couple videos out there explaining the set up of the tazer set up.

Yeah, it’s the hole in the bumper. It’s the zautomotive camera. It’s less prevalent than the factory trail cam, but I’d prefer the quality and the angle of the factory camera.

I did use the JL directions. I didn’t look for any other way to connect. I’d be surprised if the factory had set up a way to connect the rca cables that come with the after market camera. Pulling apart the dash wasn’t bad at all. Just went slow to avoid breaking any clips.

Installed a front camera today.

I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to see if I could modify the JL front camera mounting clip from z automotive to work on the JT. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work. I couldn’t get there camera to angle down enough to see closer than a couple feet in front of the bumper without it...

Has anyone installed this front camera with the JL mounting clips? I’m getting ready to try to make it work but I’m up for any lessons learned from someone that’s already done it.

I’m looking to remove the AUX switches from my 2020 JLUR and install them in my JTR. Has anyone done this before and if so is this an exact match/fit?
