I just bought a pair of Mopar Lower A-Pillar Mounting Brackets #82215427 from a Washington State dealer on eBay for $111. They had advertised the standard bracket that looks like THIS.
But what I received is the Mopar #K6862760AB which I cannot find anywhere on the web. They are stamped Mopar...
Seems to me the Rigid relay and switch should not be needed if you have added the Mopar Auxiliary Switch Bank. Not sure about the 60 Amp relay though, if the max Aux circuit is 40 Amp. Also I’m not sure I’d want red backlights to be on automatically in any front-mount scenario. That can’t be...
This is quite the dilemma. The Overland Rack will definitely hinder any plans to haul a motorcycle or lawn tractor — or sitting in the bed enjoying the view. The Sports Bar looks great (well proportioned) but I have trouble imagining its utility other than mounting some lights. What am I missing?
Three weeks now and I still can't find the ideal iPhone mount. I popped my center console off though, and I found a 10mm bolt under there. Then I found this radio microphone mount that uses that bolt to hang over the trim near the tuner knob...
For me the only disappointment is the gas mileage. I did not expect to watch a gas needle actually drop when I go to the store. Not in the year 2020. Yes, this is my first Jeep. I love it and it will probably be the last vehicle I buy. I see it as the ultimate bug-out vehicle should I ever need...
The only thing that’s not working right is the backlighting in the switches don’t dim like all the other controls. Can anyone confirm whether that’s normal or a defect on the factory install versus add-on?
Actually tonight I went out and restarted my Jeep and the Settings > Aux Switches screen appeared. No reflash. So apparently Mopar and Jeep don’t know what they’re talking about. Especially whoever wrote these instructions.
Sorry if I mischaracterized anything, Darlene. Warranty is not the same as support, you’re right. I would like to suggest that if Mopar parts require a dealer flash like this, that procedure should have a set price, disclosed up front. Ideally though, an add-on like the AUX switches should be...
I let @JeepCares know I wasn't happy with this gouging. They came close to accusing me of voiding my warranty so I had to remind them they are selling these kits with no such warning. A couple hours later my dealer emailed me and offered to do it for $100. That's pretty much the tipping point...
