The silver '23 is actually pretty light on the options. It doesn't have either of the safety packages now standard on the '24. It doesn't have adaptive cruise or auto high beams........
Yeah--Weathertech made it more of a universal fit. I returned my front and found a new old stock set on eBay. One of the other members said that Summit Racing still had the old stock versions that were specific to the Rubicon in their inventory.....
I bet if you tried to buy it for that price either online or over the phone, you would get absolutely nowhere--the same canned line of "you've got to come in for a test drive"..........Here's a current yelp review--
Yeah--When you spec out the capability package you lose the color matched plastic bumpers and gain the rubicon steel bumpers. You also lose the plastic side steps and get the Rubi rock sliders.........Looks much better IMHO........
LOL--You lost me at leasing something as goofy as a BMW IX for $800/mo:)
If you're cross shopping a diesel gladiator with a ranger and clearly focusing on the financials, you may have bought the wrong truck. I paid $64k for my JTRD a couple of months ago--I've owned trucks from Toyota, Nissan...
Everything has been pretty picked over in my area. The 2023 models with good options that are left seem to have the national incentives with the dealer offering little more. The diesel Rubicons are also pretty much gone with only 4 left within 100 miles. Strangely, the one that had the most...
The margins that dealerships make on warranty work are limited--they probably have enough work with customers that bought directly from their dealership, that jumping through the red tape of warranty claims for people that didn't consider them when buying isn't worth it to them. It sucks, but...
I went from a 22 High Altitude to a 23 JTRD when the rebate was "only" 10%. I read about the Far Out edition, but the lack of a trail cam, lack of adaptive cruise, the required M/T tires and the stickers had me sold on a regular version. It really depends on your priorities--I figured if I was...
No--I had it sprayed on my '23 Gladiator after picking it up last fall. It took a couple of days to completely cure, but it dries to a hard, satin black. It's not rubbery--you can scrape it off with your fingernail. I'll take some pics in the next day or two. I don't know about heavy mud, but...
NHOU Boss Wax--The brine used in WI is like an acid. I had a frame completely rot from the inside out on a Colorado. I could push a screwdriver straight into it. Since then I've had the frame cavities sprayed with oil and the boss wax treatment done on the undercarriage-no issues anymore. Here's...
I learned my lesson on this with my last new truck--a recall where they had to replace a tire. Tore the wheel up doing something which should have been so basic. The cross threaded lug nut found a couple of months later was the icing on the cake. The last time, a door panel needed to be...
The dealerships are throwing more money on the hoods of the lesser 3.6 equipped trucks. Many of the loaded ecodiesels in the more unique colors have already been picked through. I traded in my 2022 3.6 for a 2023 3.0........I really couldn't see myself going back. I couldn't care less about fuel...
The truly "fully loaded" diesels have MSRPs just south of $80k. There's not a lot of them left in colors other than black or white. We're trying to find another Rubicon with both safety packages(the one with ACC and auto high beams) and the trail cam package, with zero luck. The diesels at this...
It's probably similar (or the same) product from NHOU

I like it because it is much more permanent than fluid film. They basically spray the undercarriage/frame/suspension components with a flat black wax. Then they spray oil inside...
Re--the dash.........I would put money on it being the saddle seat option. The tan seats got white stitching and a grey dash instead of the much, much more common red stitching/red dash. All of the stitching in the leather on the black seat optioned trucks is red. Considering that the saddle...
