Got a nest in my hood. By the size of the droppings, it was a rat, not a mouse. Ate the edges of the sound panel around my opened vents and some rubber and built a nest on top of the battery box. I taped a stick-um trap to the batter cover and that took care of teh problem.
Can't tell if this a bike forum or a Jeep one! But mine has also taken me places I wouldn't otherwise go and I am still thrilled. Already thinking about desert roads over the winter.
I consider myself lucky to have to make this choice every time I head out to work.
Just got rid of a 2013 Aero turbo 1.4L manual. Loved that car and got about 150k out of it, mainly as a car for kids to drive while at college. That car was a blast to drive on mountain roads and the highway and would shock modded Hondas on how it could go from 55-115 in a flash and leave them...
Exactly why I got my MT JT. I'm going to miss them if they ever disappear. I just like rowing the gears. I used to have a 1.4 turbo Dart with MT. That was a blast to drive. All my kids can drive MT too. Gives them some street cred I suppose.
Overall, I think even the old pentastar is a pretty good motor. My 2012 has 260k plus miles and still getting sticker mileage. Sorry you have an issue. I've got a 2021 Charger and 2021 JT, both seem to be doing quite well, but at barely 15k on each, they are barely broken in.
Is that a burn mark or just where it pressed up against the insulation. Mine still good and working even after 7 hour drivethen used to fill tires and camping stuff like air mattresses.
Not in a JT, but I have a gen 1 in a 2012 Charger with the early ZF 8-speed that just crossed 260k. I have only replaced the battery a couple times, changed alternator for free on a recall, and replaced the oil pressure sensor. Otherwise still running strong and getting sticker mileage. I...
I use a Billet Technology can on my 392. Nice, thick aluminum body and it does catch about 100-150 ml through every oil change. I have a different opinion for a Pentastar. Having run a mopar CAI with on my 2012 Charger with the oil vapor hose pointing right at the filter, I have yet to even...
Just did, hoping more later in the summer. Had a nice easy drive up to Masonic Mine and Bodie. Nothing challenging, just teaching my daughter to drive manual.
