This is the way, it feels like you might break the dang thing while you are stopped. It's about smooth as shifting into 4H when you are rolling. 3-5mph I think is what is recommended. If I'm going up a pass I'll do it in spot where I don't loose momentum and just deal with being in 4L a little...
The soft top is great because you can just fling it back and go. Love that I can do that especially when you might have to leave panels at home otherwise and it might rain. Ya it sucks it doesn't drop into the bed but worth it. Plus with the back window it's just too easy. Look into getting a...
I'm running a Freedom Max Tow with front 1.5 spaces on 35's with the newer Mopar shocks, definitely a ride difference but didn't have to do anything major. Your springs are the bigger factor.
Here is the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCRND4S3?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1
Someone might be selling one in the marketplace as well.
I would absolutely get a skid. It is so easy to bump around with the long wheelbase and gives you peace of mind. There are simply some lines you can't avoid without bumping around.
You're also towing, imagine if you damage the receiver, that's going to be one heck of a bill. It really doesn't...
I had the same issue after they updated the head unit while I was getting a key programmed. Any Waze alerts will immediately silent SXM until I unplug and replug the phone. I'll probably just turn off notifications for now. Also got some faint static in the rear speakers when it does this.
Side note, the only trim until the X's came out that ever had the winch ready steel bumper standard was the Freedom (and the Rubicon launch edition), other it was always an option even on the Rubicon and Mojave. There are a few winch plates for sale in the Marketplace section, I did that and...

Sounds like unfortunate timing? I know the Fox shocks for the Rubicon were mediocre. I have the Max Tow package though I have the newer Mopar Rubicon shocks now. Expecting a few years out of those. (The originals failed before I even mounted the camper.) Any full time additional weight though...
So finally got out and started camping with this thing. I absolutely failed trying to put it on the truck and actually had to have help this time. I ended buying new 8" Billie Bars as couldn't find anything reasonable priced that also works with the bed cover. (So total investment was around...
What trails have you done or want to here in the state? With the high fenders and the 35's I think you'll be fine most of the time. I don't even have the high fenders and haven't run into many issues that I feel I need them. The Mojave suspension is considered by most to be the best so not sure...
Another camping trip this past weekend. Went to bed right as storms rolled in then dumped for two and half straight, tent took it like a champ with no issues.
Hit up Mosquito Pass westbound on the way home. Definitely glad we went that way as some of switchbacks looked not too fun. Pretty clean...
