I’m installing an EVOMfg lift and I got my backend tore apart and it started to rain. Tomorrow I’ll pull the springs and replace them. I can’t find anywhere if the rear stings have to be indexed on a perch like the front ones? Or do you just cram them in there?
Last year mine was diagnosed with an upper oil pan seal leak. Covered by warranty and the dealer told me they'd seen a few of them. Clean it up like @Minty JL said and keep an eye on it. I found a drop or two in the driveway too.
Side question: What the hell are those 2 rubber grommets...
I finally bashed one of my stock rock rails 2 weekends ago. Its showing a bit of rust so I want to touch it up before it gets worse. Anyone know a good/close match to the paint on there?
I got mine in December '21. I went for the full package with gas tank skid after I cased my oil pan and had to have it and the gasket replaced. The plates are thick and heavy, just what you want. The paint was great and they were very well packed. The install was a real bear. For anyone who...
Sounds PERFECT for you. I had a great JL. 2.5" synergy lift, fox shocks, perfectly aligned. A bit stiff as a DD. Once I got honest about how much I wheel and where, something more awesome for the beach was what I needed and the Mohave is perfect. I was definately running fast on the beaches...
There are drain plugs in the floor under the carpet and the carpet comes out easy. Get them open. Everything else should be fine if wiped up. The best all weather mats are the Mopar version. They snap into the drains so they stay fully functional. There are cab covers you can get but they block...
Congrats on getting your truck back! This is gonna sound dumb, but did you call Jeep Wave? I only ask because I've had them do miracles for me in the past.
Gas engine, 4.10s and 37x12.5 Micky Baja Boss M/Ts here. I’m running them at 27psi (they’re a C load not a D like stock). I’m gettin 13mpg on a good day and the highway is mostly 7th gear. Been like this for 6 months and it’s not bad. Wheeled it plenty in 4hi and lo. The only shop around me I...
In North Raleigh: Selling my full set of Mojave wheels with 285/70/r17 Falken Wildpeak M/Ts including the spare. They had 14K miles on em, but 3/8" of tread left.
Spare is brand new never run. All have functional TPMS. My truck is an early '21 build. They changed TPMS frequencies...
Where on the vehicle are you guys finding these things? When I did my Taser I pulled the whole-ass panel out from under the wheel and didn't see anything fishy. Could they be elsewhere?
sorry thought of some other things too. To be honest, I’m not thrilled with the 4.10 gears and 37s. It’s a pretty good performance hit. I haven’t decided if I want to regear or go down to 35s after I burn these. If I had it to do over I’d have gone 35s.
ive got 37x12.5x17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/Ts. You’ll be fine at 37”, but the trick is the 12.5. They won’t fit on the stock wheels. I got AEV Saverge II. They’re built specifically for the JL and JT and I think the offset is 5.5” or something. That’s what keeps the extra inch of width from...
To anyone who reads this thread; @Discount Tire is always the jam. A stock Mojave can take 37s with the right wheels. When I showed up my DT was like “No way they fit”. I told them don’t worry and they mounted them up to my wheels. Everyone there is an enthusiast and all work stopped as they got...
Stock Mojave. 37"x12.5" Mickey Baja Boss M/Ts. AEV Saverge II's 17x8.5+25mm offset (5.77" backspace). Perfect poke, 1 inch-ish.... No rubbing on the steering or anything.
