  1. Jeep Wave oil change analysis 5K mile OCI

Thats good news guys. what does that cost to do?
  2. 37’s and .410 gears

Absolutely NOT calling your "bluff" here but I wonder how your getting into 8th gear? Does the different x fer case have anything to do with it? (vs a Mojave x fer case) I wonder if it's because the MT tires are very light??? My Mojave doesn't get into 8th unless I do it myself.
  3. 37’s and .410 gears

I have a 2023 Mojave with stock 4.10 gears and x comp 37x13.5r17. I rarely do drive on freeway but it does't get into 8th gear. I have tried a few times manually to put into 8th gear on perfectly flat ground, but it's practically useless powerwise. I'm going to have to re gear soon
  4. My Mojave Wheels - paint or not? (need your opinion)

Your missing the boat bro - you're not on the same page. We are NOT talking about a stock Mojave wheel.
  5. My Mojave Wheels - paint or not? (need your opinion)

Appreciate the info, but Im done trying!!!
  6. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

    ok thanks.....makes sense!
  7. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

thats disapointing!!! What brand do you guys recommend for new gears?
  8. My Mojave Wheels - paint or not? (need your opinion)

YES, masking was almost impossible. If not powdercoat, then what would you recommend if I decide to go down this path?
  9. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

Right now with the 37's (37x13.5r17) I do not get into 8th gear on freeway. I don't do alot of freeway driving though either, but I do realize no matter what re gear size I choose, I need to re gear.
  10. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

Im going to guess the 38"s are actually close to 36" (if that matters) based on my 37's are exactly 35" when mounted on my truck, same with a buddys truck with 37's. I wonder when I DO move up to new gears, what can I sell my current 4.10s for? they have 3,100 miles on them currently
  11. My Mojave Wheels - paint or not? (need your opinion)

My wheels are not real bead locks, so would have to dismount and remount tires to powedercoat for the "beadlock" look
  12. My Mojave Wheels - paint or not? (need your opinion)

That's actually a good idea - it does alleviate my "where does my truck sit on jacks for "x" days dilemma, but I decided it wasn't worth the cost to take off / put back on tire, rebalance and powder coat is still like $1,400
  13. My Mojave Wheels - paint or not? (need your opinion)

I appreciate everyone's opinion. I TRIED to paint the "beadlock" but to mask off the tire and rim was just too difficult.- to do and look good. Ideally, I was trying to avoid removing all 4 tires (dismount, then re mount) at the expense of like $400 total, then somehow have my truck sitting on...
  14. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

ok, makes sense, BUT I gotta rely on what people with experience recommend because I have NO experience with Jeeps, gears, etc.... I've owned like 8 trucks in the last 25 years and all were 1 ton diesels. They were made to tow from the start so I didnt have to change anything. Jeeps are like...
  15. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

I get that, but re gearing a JT Mojave is no different than re gearing a JT Rubicon, correct? My point was I only watch/read stuff about JT's
  16. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

I have a JT, I always watch stuff regarding "Mojave" JT's. I don't care about stuff for JL's. Mostly because I have a Mojave and 85% of the time stuff that fits on a JL or JT Rubicon, does not fit on a Mojave.
  17. 5.13 Gears, My Thoughts and Real Numbers

I have 37's now (37x13.5r17's) and Im going to switch to a 38x12.5r17 Nitto Trail Grappler - which are actually 4lbs lighter per tire. I have 4.10's (stock) now. I rarely drive on the highway, But I know I do need to re gear soon. Now I guess I gotta decide between 4.88's and 5.13's
  18. I.D. This Tire

    I tried!!!
