Worthless tech. I don’t care about fuel savings and the delay is unacceptable. And nothing anyone will say will convince me it isn’t accelerating wear.
I’d also like to know how it affects actual tailpipe emissions since a cat has to be hot to work properly and letting cool a bit at every...
ChatGPT and the rest are mostly worthless, stop relying on them. K&N cabin filters flow more for the same reason their engine ones do- they filter less particulate.
Not how it works. It isn’t a defect, just Jeep trying to improve the scores because people do take into consideration crash performance when buying. Ford added these years ago on the F150 but only to the volume selling crew cab, extended cabs and regular ones didn’t get it till they got called...
I'd go with spill during an oil change. There is nothing on that side of the engine to leak like that. Clean it up, note oil level and see if it comes back.
You don't need to wait when this stuff happens. With the vehicle on/running, hold down the power button and the button in the center of the tuning knob for like 5-10 seconds. The unit will reboot and should return to normal. This has cleared up weird UConnect behavior for like ten years now.
I came from a 2022 ZR2 Colorado and you can no longer order the rear e locker. Supposed to be support for ten years from an OEM but I guess not always.
I asked this a few pages back and no one knew for sure. My suspicion is no considering the factory one still has the button. I ended up returning the kit.
Power has held on so far but the evening/overnight is when the wind is supposed to pick up. Thankfully I'm as well-equipped as you can be without having a generator (rental) but it's annoying. Thanks for the well-wishes though.
To be clear, "kit" may be a bit disingenuous. I got it from...
I have a January 2024 build Mojave and I ordered the kit without seeing this thread. I'm waiting for better weather to do this (cold weather and pulling on plastic trim is a bad mix) but I thought about this last night after reading this thread-
What if the outlet is energized at all times (or...
Just picked up my 2024 Mojave Saturday. MSRP of like $63k, 12k or 13k off from Jeep, 3k off from the dealer got it down to 46k. No tax in NH, just $500 is dealer mystery fees. Thrilled with it so far.
