The 3/4" seat jackers have made a significant difference in seat comfort for me (I'm 5'11" and 175 pounds).
The first time I sat in the seat after installing the jackers, I thought "what have I done--this is too extreme," but by the next drive, they felt normal. I'm happy with them.
They are...
I was forced to loosen the bolts on both front lower hinges when my JPeggz mirrors screwed up the alignment of the lower hinges and the doors would no longer close properly. They were extremely tight, yes, but I was able to loosen them with an ordinary socket wrench.
And yes, getting the doors...
I can't believe there isn't some option available for securing the hard top in the bed--some sort of rack for the large rear hardtop piece that keeps it from sliding around. I understand that this would be strange-looking, awkward and temporary, but it would be nice to be able to carry the...
Mazda's red is called "Soul Red." I had a CX-9 with that color and it was the most beautiful, deepest red I've ever seen. In sunlight, it took on several different layers of color. It is better than any other red on the market, in my opinion. The only downside is that it's apparently very...
When I hang a shirt behind me and the top is off, I sometimes get a sleeve creeping around and either touching my neck or slapping me in the face. Either way, the first time I go for a drive and that happens, it scares the shit out of me.
You're exactly right about the JPeggz. Those things screwed up the alignment of my lower door hinges and it was a pain to get them right again. I will not use the JPeggz again, which is too bad, because they were fun.
I ordered a screen protector on Amazon that is still bubble-free after 2.5 years and only cost a few bucks. One of the first things I did when the Jeep was new. It was available in the perfect size for the 8.4" screen.
I have this, and it's great. I can take the hard top off or put it back on in about 8 minutes, completely by myself--and that's with the hand-cranked version. There's an electric one that would be even faster...
That's a nice solution for a garage with enough floor space for something so massive; another would be a hoist. Mine goes up to the rafters out of the way. In any case, I agree with you about the convenience of being able to use the tonneau cover as a shelf while removing/installing the hard...
Mine came from the factory with the Mopar hard tri-fold bed cover.
Occasionally, it's a hassle when I want to use the entire bed, because folding it up has it leaning against the rear window glass (a bad design--I added a large strip of thick padding to the underside of the cover for when this...
Mine stopped working for weeks with the same message about the system constantly charging. Then the main battery failed completely after only two years. I replaced it with a better one, and not only did the start/stop system begin working again, but it now the engine stays shut off much longer...
I recently slapped the doors back on in a hurry and was not careful to seat the wiring harness gently. The next time I parked, my radio stayed on for hours because radio shutoff is dependent on the door opening, and the vehicle literally thought the door was missing completely. There was barely...
"Additionally, the reviewer hates how much wind noise is present inside the cabin and how difficult it is to access the front and rear seats."
Strangely, the front and rear seats are quite easy to access in my Gladiator. To access the front seats, I open one of the front doors. To access the...
