I pretty well explained it in the original post I thought. The whole question was about being able to use the banks pedal monster with the cables left installed.

So if I'm reading correctly on bank's website, since it just draws power from the obd port instead of the pedal itself it should work with the extension cables left in place? That was my confusion, as to whether having the extension cables connected continuously would render the factory obd port...

Also, I'm probably using the wrong terms for the cables. I've been calling the extension and the bypass cables the same thing.

I did when I ordered the other stuff. So you're saying leave the extension plugged up continuously and just add the bypass cables when I want to make changes?

From what I've read they can be removed once you get everything the way you want it but alot of people keep them hooked up and tucked under the dash because of it being a pain to get the plugs out and or back in.

Sounds good. I really couldn't care less about the halos. If I settle on a set that have them, I'll hook em up. I'm more interested in great light output so I can see where I'm going.

So are there any advantages of using 7 inch over the 9? I see a lot of people talking about using them but I haven't really looked at them. Didn't know if they were generally cheaper or brighter.

Which one seemed to throw out the most light between the two? Seems the older I get the harder it is trying to see at night. I live where there's lots of deer at night and I'm constantly crawling around different places because I can't see that far out with the halogens.
