  1. OnX app sucks!

Gaia is what I like and use. Someone here said it was unstable, and I also read that somewhere before I subscribed. They also said it works best on Apple, so I bought a iPad mini and it has worked no prob, it's been flawless. I have downloaded half a dozen states for offline. Besides maps/gps I...
  2. Rival News: Next-Gen 2024 Tacoma to Offer Turbo 4cyl or Hybrid Engine Only. No More V6

And here we go again... Good for you, I'm glad you like your automatic transmission.
  3. Bizarre windshield crack this morning

Gorilla Glass? Mabe the factory installed Spider Monkey Glass by mistake?
  4. Tpsm sensor

Use a Jscan to lower tire psi threshold and you should loose the annoying warning light and still monitor the tires.
  5. Diesel no longer available to order!

The manuals are almost gone. With around 12-13% new vehicle sales in USA, hard to say how much longer they will hold on.
  6. Exhaust recommendations

I also have the Mopar Performance Intake and it's ok. I never considered it an aggressive throaty growl, but hey that's subjective to each individual. The exhaust definitely made the biggest difference. I wanted some audio feed back with my manual transmission, hence the intake and exhaust...
  7. Exhaust recommendations

B2 Fabrication sucks. I have a B2 exhaust laying in the dirt behind my shed. My recommendation is anything but a B2 exhaust. I replaced the B2 with a Corsa Sport Dump after less than a week. The B2 Fabrication drone was so bad it gave me a headache, I even emailed the owner before I purchased...
  8. Reading Codes - Check Engine versus Other Codes

Just a disclaimer before you dip into your kids college fund. I am not 100% sure jscan would have picked up DTC C140A-11. It does read some Jeep specific and PROBABLY would have found it. I haven't seen that code on jscan with my own eyes so I can't actually testify. Caveat emptor.
  9. Reading Codes - Check Engine versus Other Codes

I have the licensed version, not sure how indepth the free version goes into the diagnostics.
  10. Reading Codes - Check Engine versus Other Codes

AlphaOBD Jscan OBDLink MX+ Check this stuff out and see if it’s anything you would be interested in.
  11. Reading Codes - Check Engine versus Other Codes

Ok, here is my wild ass guess. Code DTC C140A-11 is Mopar specific code, I’m guessing your code reader is more generic and didn’t pick up the code. The OBD2 has some generic codes that are shared across the board on different makes and models, but they left room for manufacturers to have their...
  12. Headrest safe

Man, I wouldn’t want to be sitting in that seat when someone takes it out. For some reason I don’t like a barrel a few inches from the back of my head, that’s just me though. There are other solutions I prefer.
  13. There’s two types of people in this world… ?

Two types of people? Those who label people, and people who are deeper than that.
  14. Cold weather = Death wobble

Haven't experienced death wobble in my Mojave. In the frozen depths of hell that occasionally happens where I live, my tires are hard as a rock and take a while to warm up and smooth out, no death wobble yet. That would suck in ice and snow. I'm running mostly stock suspension.
  15. $1000 to spend - what to buy

Fishing gear can eat a $k no prob.
  16. $1000 to spend - what to buy

Lock box and a little friend. Always nice to have a good friend you can rely on in hard times. Be safe.
  17. RPMs limited in 4L reverse?

It's been done, he posted it. His results were the same as yours. You can ask again and the the results will be the same, you can ask again and the results will be the same. I wonder if the results will be the same or different if I ask one more time. You never know. Keep trying. Never give up...
  18. Can the dealer disable license plate lights in reverse?

Unplug your license plate light and wire in one like my above post. It's not as bright and points down. Really reduced the glare. Kinda down and dirty way to do it, easy and simple though.
