Yes, turbos and SC both have the ability to raise fuel economy. Turbos make use of exhaust gases (wasted energy) to switch the engine from natural aspiration to forced induction which overcomes the significant losses of the engine having to pull it's own air in. SC run off the belt so it...
I think that is why I am seeing a lot of talk about aftermarket turbo or sc. I know I am heavily considering that prodigy stage 2 since I have seen reports of up to 400hp high in the rpm, torque in the mid to high 300s mid rpm, and mpg avg of 25 for cruising on JLUs.
So with these nice front + rear cameras and the ability to hook up to android auto, does anyone know if there is anyway to record this footage and save it. Either for video production of jeep events you do or say a front and rear facing dash cam?
I uploaded mine 2 weeks ago. It was mostly shots from my drone of me in my JKU driving through snow, mud, rocks, etc (drone has auto pilot, auto track, and auto follow features) and just did a voice over with my inspirational speech. The final product was originally at 4k 60 fps and 74 seconds...
What made me steer clear of wanting the eco diesel, and trust me, it was hard, was that I had seen a few reports of the ecodiesel has subpar quality crankshaft bearings and that at 150k miles, the bearings effectively exploded causing severe engine damage (to which FCA put out a recall or...
I just got it as well. It seems like they were just trying to make sure all the details were right to make sure the production and delivery goes 100% right
I have never seen that for my jk and I have driven down the freeway without the freedom panels, with the soft top partially back, with the soft top all the to the tailgate, without any part of the roof, and/or any of the doors. That was the point of the wrangler.
Its for the manual transmission only. Essentially it allows you start the car in gear incase you stalled driving up some trickery obstacle and dont have the ability to do the clutch dance or heel toe method. I have only ever used it twice in my JK just to test the theory and to show others. So...
It means there is a small slot (about half the size of standard roller fairleads) in the bumper and that it is strong enough to pull several tons of load... there were ZERO mounting points for any size winch.
I have my JKU stock steel bumper with a warn zeon platinum 12 winch installed on it, and yes, it is very cramped getting that thing in. You have to cut the vacuum pump mounting bracket on the jeep frame and relocate to the back side of the mounting plate for the winch (which I feel is a huge...
I have a warn zeon platinum 12 on my JK that I will be swapping onto my JL. The stock bumper did fine (though you do need a mounting plate and to cut the vacuum pump mounting bracket to fit a full winch in the stock steel bumper and then relocate the pump which the mountaming plate i have had a...
Last I checked, max payload was on the manual and for whatever god awful reason, FCA didnt beef up the manual so its towing is an embarrassing 4500lbs... so you can get max payload or max towing but not both.
