Completely agree, and don't forget only the rubi has the 4:1 transfer case as well. Depending on what someone is looking to do the extra low range is pretty nice.
That's probably the one part of the rubi that would be the most expensive to duplicate.
That is the one thing I wish the Mojave...
It may or may not make a difference in your case, but the best way to solve a ground loop is to have all the components connected to the same ground point. Even if they are all using factory ground points, there could still be a difference in potential which is what causes the ground loop noise...
Appreciate the input. I was originally thinking about letting it go and waiting for it to happen again, but really there is no reason for it to have died other than a bad battery. I'll bring it in when I get back home next week, hopefully I will be able to drive it there.....
Well I just had had the same thing happen to me. My JTM only has 1500 miles on it and with the holidays and being sick this week I haven't driven it since last Friday, around 7 days of sitting. We have definitely had some cold days in the last week, but nothing below 20 or so and that was only...
If you are an E3 Overland member you can buy the MTX500 right now for 10% off.
Also Notarubicon did a review on it a couple of days ago:
I personally prefer the MTX 275 style where the controls are all in the mic and the radio can be hidden away.
Nice, that Eaton locker is on my list eventually as well. I'm more going for an "overland" type build, but I do enjoy the occasional rock crawl so I think eventually it will be worth it.
I just got a 275 myself for Christmas and I am looking for a good spot to bury it in the dash. My first spot above the glove box wouldn't allow it to close unfortunately...
Where did you put it? The mic cable isn't much longer than what I see in the picture, so it looks like the radio is right...
Just saw this this morning and I'm wondering if anyone here was on this ride?
It looked like a great time. That trial looked like a workout in some spots. There was a lot more Gladiators than I was expecting to see.
This sounds like a similar trip I'm planning for later this year as well, sounds like an awesome ride!
Where in Moab are planning?
For Moab at least I typically plan for 1.5 gallon per day per person for water, so depending on how long you will be out in between restocking you need to plan...
Plastidipped my grill matt black yesterday and reassembled everything today.
Pretty pleased with the look, but now I am wondering if I should have done all the parts instead of just the main painted piece.
Either way, I'll probably end up doing an actual paint job on it in the spring.
When I went to Moab I had downloaded all the layers for the entire state at a pretty high resolution. With a 128GB card in the Samsung I could probably get a lot of of the country.
I knew a lot of the areas I was going to be in either had no reception or no data at least so I didn't want to...
Just an FYI, the new version of the 275 (USB C on the front) will power itself back on when the truck is turned on if it was on when you previously shut the truck off.
The issue with IOS products (referring specifically to tablets here) is that in order to have built in GPS you need to buy the wifi/cellular versions. You don't need to subscribe to a service, but you won't have a GPS chip if you buy a wifi only version.
I prefer Android personally, but I...
