  1. Front bumpstops; Sumo or JKS adjustable?

It's more or less planning ahead...running the Fox 2.0 IFP 3" venture kit. I plan to upgrade down the road, but more or less wanted to do things while I'm there. Sumo springs don't involve cutting, these do, and seem like they could even out some rake? for the difference in price, they seem...
  2. Front bumpstops; Sumo or JKS adjustable?

True, I've already got a set of Sumo springs for the back, and want things to be equal on all 4 corners. Factory is probably fine, but I'm upgrading things while I'm there.
  3. Front bumpstops; Sumo or JKS adjustable?

Looking to do the fronts while I do the lift. Seems it's best to do them all at once opposed to later, and have to remove the front springs again, etc. Running 35s and going to the JKS 3" lift; would the JKS adjustable fronts give me any added benefit? I like the bolt-in option better seeing...
  4. Death Wobble settlement agreement in class-action case could mean reimbursement for some Jeep owners

So with my 2020 here's what I gather: 1. After lift install, keep OEM stabilizer and ask for a replacement; since I'm covered till 90k miles and I'm under warranty (or MaxCare end date once purchased) 2. FCA isn't paying me for anything I never/haven't replaced yet 3. Standby for actual...
  5. Omg Have You Checked Your Lower Ball Joint Nut

I was gonna say, maybe that's an option now :giggle:
  6. Aftermarket Seats?

You mind posting up some pics of yours finished and installed? I'm looking for some options; currently leaning towards Scheel-mann, but if there are equally quality seats but I can retain the airbags and save some coin I'm definitely going to try and entertain options!
  7. Seat options, to those that have switched... 2020 JTR

Looking to swap seats, particularly to Scheel-mann. Our seats have the side impact airbags built in and the airbag light is dealt with using a resistor to keep the light happy and all copasetic on that note. My main question is has anyone else made the plunge yet, if not with Scheel-mann...
  8. Mojave soft-top loaner vs Rubicon

No it’s the loaner for my Rubicon in for warranty work; fixing rust bubbles on the tailgate and all the hinges etc. I didn’t even know there was a normal and a premium soft top. How can you tell?
  9. Mojave soft-top loaner vs Rubicon

Yup, to #2. I thought it felt different too but was like no... can't be :/ Definitely not trading anything lol, too far into my Rubicon and heading down my build path, but it's a little frustrating for sure, especially the noise angle.
  10. Mojave soft-top loaner vs Rubicon

Just a couple WTF's here I need to mention and vent about: 1. The auto-dimming mirror, I need that in my 2020 Rubicon's life. Miss it from my GX460... 2. Cloth seats seem to actually hold me a little more snug, one drive in, not sure if it's more comfortable or not though... 3. And last but...
  11. Driving in 2 feet of snow

I guess I'm behind and new lol, elaborate on said "duck" mode, I'm lost:LOL: *EDIT* I read further, not 100% my 2020 has it, but I'll be checking tomorrow :) Once the Toyota reference was made to crawl control I got it ?
  12. 3.6 Engine Tick

Exactly. I will take it back in 1800mi and make sure my point is known. It won't just vanish, and it needs to be handled; also considering the timing of where I'm at warranty wise/mileage etc., they're not stupid but neither am I. It needs to be addressed and corrected.
  13. 3.6 Engine Tick

I went through the consumption testing at 24k on the clock. I had changed the oil and full (5qt) then took it to the dealer for making all kinds of racket. On arrival there, 1400mi into the change, I was over a quart low and no signs of any leaks, nothing. So roughly 1.5qt low, they...
  14. Rear window guard - Back Rack style

Anyone aware of a back-rack type window guard that's freestanding, and not part or a rack itself, preferably a grate/mesh type and not 2-3 bars vertical/horizontal...thanks.
  15. Diesel no longer available to order!

Glad my ordering effort went south. Fate landed me here in a gasser so all is well! Has to be a frustrating venture to deal with that recall. I still want a diesel something, Volvo c303 or Pinz seems way more likely than a BT4 swap
  16. 20K reasons to celebrate ShadowsPapa

Big thanks for the knowledge and insight, he’s helped me out a few times, and taking time just once is appreciated.
  17. Lift height vs shock ability

So, I need adjustable front bumps rather than Sumo Springs to plan for the future then...
