My rd245 ARB locker, air compressor, and ARB diff cover all shipped today. I’ll hopefully have them put on in two or three weeks. Lt3 studded Hakkapeliitta tires will be next. Should be all ready for winter.
So would you rather get married to a trophy wife, a great cook, or best friend? The trophy wife is the winch. Costs a lot of money, but looks great on your front end. However you still need to have a way to tie it down. The great cook is the traction board. Always makes you feel good knowing...
I have no problem using an air locker on my Mojave, but I did want to make sure it would fit first. ARB was yes and no on the RD245, but now I think I’m ready to order.
This was helpful. Someone at ARB told me it would work and someone else told me it wouldn’t. Was the install pretty staightforward or were additional parts needed? Besides the air compressor ofcoruse.
Ryder I have a couple of questions. I have talked to a couple of 4wd shops and they have all said you can’t put a front locker in the Mojave as of now. What part number did you order from ARB and was anything else special needed? Also did you wire it to the aux switches in the dash and do you...
So has anyone put an Arb in a Mojave yet? If so looking for feedback. I’m pretty sure no other E lockers are compatible yet, but correct me if I am wrong.
Challenger the one thing you will learn from these forums is that everyone with a Rubicon tells you to buy a Rubicon. Everyone with a Mojave will tell you to buy a Mojave. Now when OhGawdiator comes out that has the Mojave suspension and the Rubicon front locker and sway bar with the Hybrid...
The one time I get stuck in two feet of snow and need it it won’t be there. Plus it is much more sad to keep it locked up in the house. It just wants to feel the air in its holes.
So related question. Today as I was driving I noticed a good deal of shake on the jack while driving. I removed the stand and the spreader to save some weight. Noticed several wing nuts were a little loose even on my traction boards. I added one more 1/2 carriage bolt for extra hold, but...
So I finally got my HiLift mounted on my Fishbone rack today. RCI Off-road in Loveland CO had the mounting kit. Had to go to Ace hardware and got some longer 3/8 carriage bolts with wing nuts and washers. I also put a an additional 1/2 carriage bolt on for a little more support.
