  1. Should I trade my Tundra to Gladiator?

Well people will wave at you instead of giving you just one finger.
  2. Dedicated snow tires?

With all that said my studded LT3ā€˜s just arrived. I could take a picture and post it, but I do believe that is tire porn. Not sure on forum rules.
  3. What Lube Locker for Mojave m220 rear?

    I’m bumping my own thread.
  4. Mojave Owners; How Does Your Truck Handle Snow?

Blizzaks while good snow tires can not hold a candle to Hakkapeliitta. After about 15000 miles Blizzaks have lost the best part of their tread. Nokian’s keep their tread right down to where you actually need to change the tire. I have had both.
  5. What Lube Locker for Mojave m220 rear?

Amazon was trying to send me a Dana 30. I know that is not correct. Even Lube Lockers website is vague. Anyone do one for the Mojave and what part number did you use? Thanks in advance.
  6. Jackery- is this for real?

About what I paid on Amazon or even a little less. I have two.
  7. Dedicated snow tires?

Yes the lt3 has a 315/70/17 that is a little under 35 inches tall. And as far as dedicated winter tires go it really depends on where you live. I grew up outside Philly and would not even bother there. Heck some years it hardly ever snows and even then melts within a week. Now Wyoming is a...
  8. Dedicated snow tires?

Just ordered 4 Hakkapeliitta lt3 studded tires. I’m still on 285/70/17.
  9. Mojave Owners; How Does Your Truck Handle Snow?

Hate to bring this thread back from the dead, but as they say on Game of Thrones ā€œwinter is comingā€. If you are worried about driving on ice and snow true winter tires are better than anything. I just ordered studded lt3 Hakkapeliitta tires and that was no easy task as most of the country is...

I figured it was his last Jeep as he was preparing to die.
  11. Any Way to Reduce Wind Noise?

Don’t forget the underside. Noise is noise wether it comes from the top or bottom. I used about 3 cans of Boom mat under the cabin and it helped a bit for sure. Just make sure you use cardboard under your Jeep when spraying.
  12. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

Everyone hold off on the front locker. My shop ran into numerous problems. First ARB never sent carrier bearings and no one has them local. Also the locker is a 1/4 inch smaller than the housing. They could put splines in to make up the difference, but we’re worried it would grenade if being...
  13. Mojave Folks or anyone else that wants to chime in... How fast is too fast?!

If it helps I’ve had mine up to about 80-85 on better dirt roads. If you are talking taking jumps I’d say no way. So far the Mojave feels very solid and rattle free. I have added engine and trans skid plates, but that honestly is more for winter when I can’t see the ground. On my last Q7 I...
  14. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

Installed it should be about $3000 to add an ARB245 front locker. About $1000 for locker, $320 for air compressor, $200 for air mount and ss air lines, $170 for ARB diff cover, and $1300 for install. Mine goes in Monday and Tuesday.
  15. Mojave Off Road Plus Mode?

I have been using it a lot with my Select-trac on. Running high speed dirt it helps keep the transmission in the peak powerband and loosens up the traction control a bit. I’m reasonably sure it still keeps some of the stability control or else I would of been in a ditch for sure. Even moving...
  16. Update: (Trigger has been pulled on) About to pull the trigger on a Mojave, a few questions please.

Select—trac, aux switches, 8.4, cold weather, leather, Gorilla glass, and maybe blind spot and rear cross traffic detection.

Bring in $42,000 USD and consider It sold.?
  19. I love my local dealer!

I now have experience with two Jeep dealers Larry Miller in Aurora, CO and Johnson Auto in Laramie WY. I didn’t even know Johnson Auto existed when I went to Denver to Jeep shop. Had my first oil change with them and was done in 40 minutes. No problems. They didn’t wash it, but my...
