I only got my general ticket in the fall of last year. It's been fun learning. I have the two-band in the Gladiator and a 3DR, but hardly use them. I like playing with HF the most, especially FT8. There's nothing like making a contact 5000 miles away.

I just did this for my ICOM 2M/70CM transceiver. There’s a ground post on the passenger side behind a plastic access panel near the attachment point for the door limit strap. There may be one on the driver side, but I didn’t check.

My Rubicon came with 33”. My plan was to go 2.5” with 35” and at the last minute changed my mind to 37”. I’m very happy that I did. Given the Rubicon fenders are higher, my recommendation would be to wait and go up a size to 35” for yours.
3400 miles and hasn’t happened once. As a long time Jeep owner, this is perplexing to me. I should be losing a cup or more of gas on the fender at each fill up.

I haven’t really noticed a difference in back of the seat feel. It’s still fun to drive; not scientific, I know. The real test is when I have to tow my 6500# camper.
