I just did this for my ICOM 2M/70CM transceiver. There’s a ground post on the passenger side behind a plastic access panel near the attachment point for the door limit strap. There may be one on the driver side, but I didn’t check.

My Rubicon came with 33”. My plan was to go 2.5” with 35” and at the last minute changed my mind to 37”. I’m very happy that I did. Given the Rubicon fenders are higher, my recommendation would be to wait and go up a size to 35” for yours.

It’s a big number, but between the axles, suspension, and V8, this seems like a decent deal.

ICON 2.5”, AEV LCA brackets, Steer Smarts front track bar, 5 x AEV Savegre II, and BFG KO2 37x12.5x17 It drives great, though I haven’t towed yet. I may do 4.88 gears depending on how that goes.

I haven’t really noticed a difference in back of the seat feel. It’s still fun to drive; not scientific, I know. The real test is when I have to tow my 6500# camper.
