Good to hear nothing was found! I feel like it could be the control arms cycling and creaking/squeaking until they do it a few times. Could be the coils. Could be shocks. Regardless seems just part of it this time of year, I mean I feel extra creaky/ squeaky right now in this cold too
That has been my experience also. Its been a few winters since we have been this cold too ;) you are not alone at least! I just figure its normal. When I got my windshield changed on Monday it was in a heated shop while they did it and when I left there was no noises for me whatsoever. So if...
Could be for him, I know my Fox shocks were done and I replaced with Bilsteins. The noise was still there the following winter for me though. Mine is maybe not so much a squeak but more of a creak.
Also MN, also squeaky but I have a lift. I chalk it up to the cold/ winter treatments and coil springs because in the warmer temps it is not squeaky at all. I think with the salt, moisture and everything up here it just gets in all the nooks and crannies and with everything exposed like it is...
Lots of Toyotas in that picture, hopefully he didn't get a newer Tundra or a Tacoma. The "fixed" 3.5s aren't fixed and only have a 1 year warranty after fixed, shows how confident Toyota is in the replacement engine. If he thought misfires were a problem just wait until that engine grenades on...
Years prior you could have 4.56 (still XR package though) with the 3.6 and auto:

Can't get them new anymore but you can used!
I have ran tri-fold on every truck I have had. I buy hard tri-fold covers now a days vs the soft tri-fold for a little bit add protection. My Gladiator had a roll up on it when I bought it but eventually I feel like the Velcro along the sides gets dirty and doesn't stick to itself as well and...
Update:
I googled the part number of what windshield they used to replace mine and came across this thread:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/cracked-windshield-club.5935/page-21
Seems like I am not the only person claiming the defroster did it, some of theirs looked like mine...
Possibly.... just odd no points of impact or anything. I checked it out from start to finish inside and out and nothing from a rock can be seen. At 65 mph I wouldn't think a rock could flip up from my own tires and make it to my windshield but anything is possible. It was a divided highway so...
I used to think when reading this thread that the majority of you just drove like my wife and followed too close to people until yesterday. I was driving into work, it was dark and no one was in front of me on the highway when I heard what sounded like a rock hitting my windshield. Thinking...
I have had two out of the three, I didn't notice much of a difference between the Ultraterrains and BFGs as far as weight goes and effects on accelerating, stopping or MPG. Both are good tires and did well in the snow here in MN. Currently on 37" Milestar Patagonia XTs, definitely notice the...
As an owner of both a Corvette and Jeeps... I mean you're not wrong lol. I have a victory red, ragtop, LS2 built on a Tuesday 1 of 899 built like that...no low balls I know what I have :CWL: jk. However I do like those seats though, will look good in my Gobi Tan Gladiator!
I feel like in the Midwest we have to pay double for a gear swap compared to quotes I have heard on here from places like California/ Utah. Doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe just not much of a market for such services here compared to those places. I have been happy with my 3.73s in my...
The naysayers vs the hopefuls is all this thread has turned in to lol with side quest topics sprinkled throughout. I believe the naysayers are correct however I can still be a hopeful!
I typically get around 18mpg on average in the summer and 16 in the winter however it seems like this year the winter gas is worse than previous years currently sitting at 14-15 mpg on average. However I am on 3.73s and 37s versus your set up. My wife's '22 Grand Cherokee WK2 is averaging 18...
I hope they are back on the Hemi/ Hellcat the world mentality like they used to be as an entire company. Would mean we will get a V8 Gladiator finally... hopefully... Mainly because I have kept up with this thread since day 1 and its been a long, winding road of all kinds of topics until now 😆
I just changed from BFG C-rated 37" to Milestar Patagonia X/T D-rated 37". They are heavier but truer to a 37" versus the BFG, they are also super quiet and have been amazing so far this year for winter in MN for snow and ice. I feel like they out perform the BFGs in winter so far but it could...
I have ran the Goodyear Ultraterrains (35") and they did excellent in the snow and ice in MN but they wore down too quickly for me, part of it was the tire compound and part of it was my suspension out of whack at the time. I ran BFG K02s (37") and they did fine but like the original K0s, I...
Honestly this is the exact same attitude I have about it, my truck is already set up how I want it minus the engine/ power. If they never give a JT with a Hemi from factory I am just going to go this route, $30k is cheaper than a new truck. I only have 47k miles on mine currently, maybe once I...
