Did you buy it used? If so is there a matching plug on the other side? If yes I am thinking the previous owner had ditch lights installed? I was just in the same area on mine reinstalling my ditch lights after a windshield replacement and I don't remember a connector of any kind in there...
All smoke and mirrors for the little "programmers" like Spitfire and the like, aside from maybe Pulsar but that is only for 2021 and under I believe. It piggybacks to the ECM. Even then Idk if it increases the horsepower like they say or if it is just a glorified, harder to install throttle...
As the only person in this thread currently running 37s and 3.73s, to answer the question asked, no it isn't that bad. You have to determine what is bad for you though because what works for me may not work for you. For a little of my background, I am likely the only person on here who came...
Lol I luck out on my daily drive, it is fairly flat so as long as the wind cooperates I see 8th on the highway at 65-70 mph, whatever the speed limit is for that stretch of road. Any kind of headwind, forget about it :CWL:
I have been on 37s for a few years on stock 3.73s. Weight is more noticeable than the tire size in my opinion. My truck had 35" BFG KM3s and a lift when I bought it and I didn't notice much difference when I went to 37" BFG K02s (64 lbs), I did notice when I switched to 37" Milestar Patagonia...
Sumo springs or Timbrens is my vote, I have ran both over the years. Currently have Timbrens on the Gladiator. As far as a half cocked tailgate goes, Gladius Offroad sells an aluminum replacement for the plastic piece. It holds up better than the OEM piece.
Unless you both chipped away the middle of your lights, it looks like you at least have some melting from your halogens thus some light output. With the LEDs the middle would look like your outsides also, all solid and basically just producing a glow through the snow. However with our recessed...
Glad it wasn't just me thinking it when I was reading through this thread :CWL: . When doing my monthly charge up of my batteries I have always hooked to positive and negative above the IBS vs their recommendation of a ground on the block and/or body, I haven't messed anything up yet that I am...
It is unnerving for sure! I remember this winter I was driving home during some of that wet heavy snow crap and I started questioning if I even had my lights on (I always leave them on auto) because light output was so minimal. The headlights were surprisingly full of snow when I pulled into...
Excellent advice, I typically fully charge up my batteries over night once a month or so throughout the whole year for both my truck and my wife's Grand Cherokee and we have not had any remote start failures due to the cold (knock on wood). My batteries were replaced in October 2024 because it...
I had the same thing happen on other vehicles with LEDs, the LED headlights are bright but don't put off enough heat like the old halogens did to melt the snow build up. Winter in MN gets tricky when it is actively snowing but my commute is only 30 minutes or less so I just scrape it off when I...
Either way I thought the 850RE that was mated to the 3.6 in our trucks was only rated for up to like 369 ft lbs? Both the 5.7 and 6.4 are beyond that rating. Not really a make or break, well it might break, deal for me just an observation. I have been watching ebay for a few years now and...

Except you don't get a transmission, evidently you can use the 3.6 transmission if you have less than 90k miles? The whole kit shipped for $25k but I like your approach better tcabece!
Same for Timbrens, which is what I use. They are rubber vs the Sumo Springs polyurethane but they are stated to be good to -25 F however they definitely stiffen up before they get to -25 F just the nature of the beast. Everything gets a little stiffer in the winter, myself included.
I just switched to the XTs last month and love them, about 1500 miles so far. I had 37 inch BFGs K02s before these and now have 37 inch Pat XTs. Winter traction has been fantastic. Can't tell you rain traction or mud yet but from other reviews I don't have any concerns. Quietest tire I have had...
