  1. Is a block warmer necessary for...?

In MN, the last couple of winters that I have had it my truck sits outside at work during negatives with no issues. I hit the remote start as I walk towards it at the end of my day, wait for it to idle down once I'm inside and go on about my day. It has never once struggled or not started.
  2. Traded my JT for more power

Right, if they are in within the lines... they are parked correctly, even with a little NW, SE action. I try not to be an inconvenience to others although that cart zip tied to the handle approach mentioned previously did make me laugh a little. I used to have "business cards" that I bought...
  3. Traded my JT for more power

Your XJ was also only 165 inches long (101" wheelbase) vs the 233 inches for the TRX (145" wheelbase), so less of a turning radius even if almost as wide. I didn't want to make someone have to get in the passenger door from the other side or worse yet door ding the shit out of my TRX while...
  4. Traded my JT for more power

You speak of things of which you know nothing about lol... my TRX was just shy of 90 inches wide at the wheels flirting with dually territory at that point but for both front and back, if your Gladiator sticks out that wide I feel sorry for your wheel bearings. It is also full time 4wd so it...
  5. Throttle error

Counterpoint: I have had 9 pedal commanders in various vehicles: Ram 1500, 2 Wranglers, 3 Grand Cherokees, TRX, Gladiator and my Corvette with zero issues. My wife and myself won't drive without one, even in performance vehicles like the TRX and Corvette it is an improvement. My buddy has one...
  6. Traded my JT for more power

I traded my TRX for my Gladiator, the power was fun, the room was nice and the features were a plenty. However it was thirsty, it was a pain to park and I was always afraid someone was going to steal it for the hellcat power plant. Still the RHO/TRX is damn good looking and a super nice truck...
  7. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

Just for fun I checked Cars.com, nationwide for MY26 Ram 1500s there are 19,273 V/I6s for sale vs 8,723 V8s. Granted that has the 3.6s included but there are over double the available amount of V/I6 than V8s. So maybe the outselling is an option/ availability issue?
  8. [3.6L] What’s Your Cold Weather Startup Procedure?

Remote start 99% of the time, when it is done fast idling I put it in gear and drive. I do this whether it is 32, -32 or 102. I drive fairly slowly regardless of the temperature.
  9. We are Suckers

... but... if it had a Hemi... ;)
  10. LiteBrite: AMW visit V8 ordered from Jeep?

LOL "Bye Felicia" is from 1995 not something that just went mainstream within the last 5 years...
  11. 80mm throttle body upgrade - snake oil or real performance?

I have the 80mm ported throttle body, also have an air intake, AFE Y pipe, Superchips Pulsar tuner and Pedal Commander. Is the juice worth the squeeze? Would it have been cheaper going with gears instead of all that? Only you can answer that for yourself but I am happy with my set up because...
  12. New 2.0 Hurricane Turbo 4 engine announced (324 hp / 332 lb-ft)

I admit I am still wanting a Hemi in a Gladiator but after driving my wife's 2.0 JLU, I could get behind this new 2.0 in a Gladiator if they can find a way to keep it cool. Impressive numbers from a 2.0 turbo and around the same specs as GM's 2.7 and it seems most Silverado/ Sierra & Colorado/...
  13. Here we go again - 3.73 with 35s - how bad is it really?

I have 37" BFG K02s, the 3.6 with 3.73s and regularly see 8th here in MN @ 65-70 mph speeds, granted it is fairly flat where I live. Wind will also play a huge factor however it would be a factor regardless of gearing and tires due to driving a box. 18-18.5mpg is my typical during the summer...
  14. Gladiator Q3 2025 Sales Increased 43%

Idk, I don't hate it and I don't love it in regards to the Cherokee, would like to see one in person to make a final judgement. There are some similarities to the 90s/2000s Cherokees at least more so than the previous generation Cherokee. I am questioning their hybrid only choice for...
  15. swaybar front disconnects...........

Those pesky latte drinking, non-working, Rubicon owners just have to push a button, at least the Autolynx owners have to actually get out in the elements and flip the tops!
  16. swaybar front disconnects...........

Another vote for Apex Autolynx, buy once cry once. I do like Metal Cloak's products, have a few of them on my Gladiator but the Apex Autolynx made the most sense to me.
  17. Subscription updating while using SXM

https://chryslergroup.navigation.com/models/Catalog/Catalog_Jeep_Gladiator/en_US/ChryslerNA/USD Every once in a while I get emails from here about a discount, update for $99. Follow the directions on the website and they will send you a UConnect update along with a navigation update if it is...
  18. Subscription updating while using SXM

I had it randomly for a while the last few months, tried to send a refresh signal from XM to see if that fixes it... It didn't. I did a navigation update recently which included an updated for my 8.4 inch screen unit and now I can't recall seeing the subscription updating popping up anymore...
  19. 37 vs 38’s and 4.88 vs 5.13

I think we have established you can regear and be happy, not regear and be happy and be me with 3.73s and 37s and be happy. MPG, driving experience and general feel of the truck is all up to the interpretation of the driver and what you want out of your truck. OP let us know what you end up doing!
  20. Considering switching from PUP to R&P

They claim four or more changes for up to 100% deposit removal on their website. Likely will be more noticeable in my YJ than Gladiator but I look at it as preventative for the Gladiator. Cost is comparable to most full synthetics but this seems like it has an added bonus compared to other...
