Very similar to my experience! Stock 3.73s and yes my 37 inch BFGs are 35.5 mounted but my 35 inch Goodyears were 33.5 mounted and were heavier (E range vs current C range). For whatever reason the transmission seems happier, mostly 7th with dips into 8th. Less gear hunting than when I had...
I had a 5.7 in my 2014 Ram 1500 and it was great minus the tick caused by broken exhaust manifold bolts. After two fixes I traded it in but that was really the only thing I didn't like about the engine. The MPGs were pretty decent until I lifted the truck and added bigger wheels and tires. I...
My truck isn't named anything but my 13 yo son wants to call it "Mine" when he turns 16. However I think that is awesome for you and your grandkids and will help continue the Jeep love for the next generation!
Interesting because with mine with the pedal commander sport+ and +4 it is so sensitive that it barks and jerks the truck repeatedly barely touching the pedal each time. It is the first vehicle I had to turn the Pedal Commander down on because it was too twitchy at sport+ and +4 (highest...
Pedal commander took all the delay out for me. Some on the forum don't like them and use a similar product from Banks. Sounds like either way a throttle controller would help you out with your issue.
Rear Sway Bar Reinforcement & Repair Bracket, JT Gladiator (metalcloak.com)
That will help reinforce the area and help prevent it from ripping out once you get a straight one back in there. If you look at that tab there isn't a whole lot of meat to it.
Traded my TRX in on it in 2023, currently has 34,500 miles and I keep finding stuff to do to it and with it. Love it! No issues so far. Will probably replace batteries soon as I am pretty sure they are the originals but otherwise it has been great.
I put molle panels on the inside of my bed sides and bulk head and then bungie cord the traction boards to the bulk head molle panel. Idk how the molle panel would work with your plastic drop in though.
Dewalt. I used their drills all day, everyday at work when I installed boat covers and bimini tops for Lowe Boats back in 2006. Lots and lots of snaps screwed into the aluminum daily. Went out and bought one for myself, still have it and still works. I have since expanded my tool collection...
This is exactly how I got my speedometer calibrated, I kept adjusting until it was dead on. I started with measuring the actual tire but felt like it wasn't quite correct so I kept adjusting until it was there.
Well I thought I was just crazy but my daily drive is just about 50/50 city/highway. Everyday, every week for over a year I averaged around 16 mpg hand calculated (sometimes dipping into the 15s during the winter). Same drive, same speeds. Switched from 35" goodyears to 37" bfgs in July, E...
Looks familiar... the JT has been upgraded quite a bit since the first pic. Just when I think I am done, I add more but her JL is mostly stock. She won't let me modify it
It is amazing what a tune does for the ZF Transmissions. I had a '21 TRX that was built up and I thought the transmission was good from the factory but it was a whole different animal once it was tuned. I feel like the ZF in the Gladiator is "ok" but definitely has room for improvement...
Well swing and a miss so far. I enabled the three off road settings I outlined in my picture but noticed no changes so I would imagine we have to have the button to enable and/or other connectors/software. Maybe Tazer/JScan can come up with something!
Possibly will need to add the switch but hey it is a start! I have a 2020 Sport S. Granted I was just in demo mode on JScan and when I connect to my JT it might be like nope sorry no can do but I will give it a go this evening and report back if anything comes from it.
Just put on BFG K02s after being anti-BFG due to having poor performance out of the K0s years ago. I have no regrets so far but am still in the honey-moon phase. Hopefully they do just as well this winter in MN compared to the excellent performance of the 35" Goodyear Ultraterrains I had last...
I had the Goodyear Ultraterrains in 35s and then switched to K02s in 37s both are quiet and fairly equal in sound in my opinion. Both quieter than the 35'" KM3s I had originially.
I have 3.73s and started with 35s (BFG KM3s, E range 33.5-ish mounted 74 lbs per discount tire then went to Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrains, E range 33.5-ish mounted 68lbs per discount tire) and now with 37s BFG K02s (C range 35.5-ish mounted, 64lbs per discount tire) and have zero regrets. I...
I am on the opposite end of the spectrum, stock 3.73s with BFG 37s (35.5-ish mounted) and am completely happy with my set up. I gained 1 mpg over the heavier/wider tread Goodyear 35s (33.5-ish mounted) I replaced. I stay in 7th for the most part while cruising 65-70mph at 2000-ish rpms...
