Do the advertised engine chips really increase horsepower and MPG

Seeing lots of ads for these performance chips. Are they worth the cost? Which one for a stock Mojave not running hard off road?

All smoke and mirrors for the little "programmers" like Spitfire and the like, aside from maybe Pulsar but that is only for 2021 and under I believe. It piggybacks to the ECM. Even then Idk if it increases the horsepower like they say or if it is just a glorified, harder to install throttle sensitivity adjuster.

If you want something for performance take a look at the Banks Pedal Monster. It makes a noticeable difference and has a lot features built into it. Although it isn't really performance per se but still noticeable.
