I know it depends on the insurance company, I have USAA and when my wife has a wreck in her TJ they didn't even look at it. It's on its side it's totaled.
You can't have too much winch, that said I have run a Ramsey 9500 on my F250 for 15 years and it has always handled every thing I tried to do. I don't think a 10 would fail you on a JT.
I know how you feel about the 74 Bronco, I had to let mine go when I got divorced in 80. 302 with a C4 auto 44s on both ends. 10 MPG 2wd or 4wd. Always thought the 12 and 10 gallon tanks were funny.
Those look interesting. I keep looking for a replacement tow mirror that is a bolt on replacement. I guess I ask for too much. I have a 21 foot center console and the stock mirrors are terrible when backing the boat.
I debated waiting on a Bronco or getting a Gladiator, my daily driver for 30 years was a F series. We have always had a Jeep vehicle in the mix. My wife's 13 Wrangler had 145K on it when it was totaled out. The main decision point with me was engines. While the Gladiator is not going to win...
My experience was like ShadowsPapa. After the hurricane through a tree on my wife's 13 Wrangler Unlimited the agent gave over book value due to bumpers, rock sliders. I think different company's are easer to work with.
I have a old ( 30+) Ingersoll 1/2 & 3/8 that I thought were the best tool ever, around 10 years ago my wife gave me a 1/2 inch Dewalt 18 volt and I was amazed. I'm sure the newer 20 volts are better, but as long as all my 18 volt stuff works I will stick with them.
I have had USAA for over 20 years, may could save a few bucks but, the customer service is second to none. After Hurricane Michael I lost a 13 Wrangler, boat, damage to house and contents. USAA's adjuster looked at my wrangler which had a tree across the hard top on it but did not look that bad...
Red line hood struts. Did not know I needed them until I read about them on a thread. My wife thought the HD in Harley stood for hundred dollars, one day I'm going to be in trouble.
