I have the same issue, I bought the ramp for a F250 and the back doors are very different in size. Would like to find one that works with the Gladiator. Built a set out of a 2X8 and it is too narrow for my Great Pyrenees.
I taught my wife to drive a stick in a 1980 Escort, taught son and daughter with my 74 CJ5 put them in a field and let them work it out saved my nerves.
For me the range and replacement questions on the battery pack would hold me back. My regular drives involve several 100 mile trips a week and a 300 mile one way every month or so. I would also would have to have a second tow vehicle so the math does not add up.
I thought it was just my Pyrenees, he hates climbing when I place the dog hammock in the back seat he will ,place his front paws on the back seat and wait for me to pick the rear end up.
The power is adequate for the intended use. Jeep is not a sports car, if I want light to light I would drive my Mustang GT. I would like a good inline 6 or a small V8, but the current engine is fine for it's intended use.
While I have fond memories of my 74 CJ5. I still think it was the most fun vehicle I have ever owned. However I was 22, at 79 I like the creature comforts my JT. Yes the joys of a 3 speed trans, no power steering, AC, ect. But I did have a 8 track.
I don't have Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my JT, I do have them on my F250 and my wife's 05 TJ has them in 285/70/17. Have 35K on them expect to get 15 K more out of them. The F250 was my main vehicle for years second set on it no issues 50K plus out of the first set ran 55 PSI on the 250 and 35 on...
I just checked with Caravan's sight, they offered $ 38,000 for my 20 Sport S 20K miles. Truck stickered for $43,000. Not bad but not a reason to trade with prices where they are.
