  1. Issue with Rockslide Engineering Step

I recommend disconnecting the power wires to that step from the main loom; it's a short wire connection about 6" long. I found a bent/crushed prong in the connector that would intermittently cause issues along with bad motors or controllers that were also replaced.

  3. Offset/backspace tolerances with a 3" lift

I can say that anyone wanting a beadlock capable wheel with little/no outside of fender “poke” can use the AEV Borah. It’s good up to a 37” tire but I had to use spacers to get clearance for larger tires (38s and now 40s). The Borah is good up to a 40”.
  4. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Yeah I can feel your pain. Rolling on 38s wasn’t ideal with the stock 4.10s but going to 40s made my transmission go full retard, even with flashing for tire size and speedometer. Getting gears soon.
  5. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Hey man, and I’m using that term loosely. Look for trouble elsewhere. If you don’t like the thread than go….
  6. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Thanks but not looking for info. Looking to have conversations as to what others did, why, and how they feel about the choice. Since we can’t all jump into similar trucks with different gear choices for a test drive, this conversation might prove interesting to those undecided and affirming to...
  7. 5.13s or 5.38s with what tire size and why?

Who’s got 5.13s or 5.38s? What tire size are you running? What Engine? AT or MT? Why that gear ratio? Are you happy with the choice?

    Want to make garage space.:jk:
  9. Metal fenders or “plastic”?

STOCK. I’ve bumped, banged, and popped these stock fenders and my previous Jeeps’ fenders off only to pick them up, drive home, and push them back on with new replacement clips and plastic rivets. It’s a cheap and easy fix. You can easily repair bad scrapes and gouges with a torch to look like...

  12. North Carolina AEV 2.5" Dualsport Suspension

This has been a great suspension but I went taller and don't need it. It didn't come with the Procal, which is not very good since there's a lot of better alternatives that do more for the money. I'm including all parts but the drop brackets. Kit has approximately 10k miles. This suspension was...
  13. Question concerning factory brake controller, NOT installed at the factory.

I never did anything to mine, after installing it myself. It was an easy install. Never flashed anything but my pearly whites when I hooked up my 24 foot travel trailer and towed it. Since then, I've towed an excavator, another trailer for my mower, and some uhaul trailers. Works great. Hope you...

  16. Show me your Gladiators on 40's.

My plans are to wheel the rig by using ground clearance both under the frame and axles with full use of articulation to overcome obstacles. These rigs are looooooong. The height was an intentional sacrifice. It finally looks like the tire size, wheel well openings, and length are correct...
