Bestop stated that the Softtopper is intended for camping, and the Supertop is intended for transport/coverage. This explains the differences between access and accessories on each one. They stated this is why they weren't planning to develop accessories or different pieces for the Supertop...
I bought these on Amazon back in June 2023. They've never fallen off, still on, still stable. I have heated mirrors and these add ons don't seem to be affected by that. I have had 4 different brands, this is the only good one so far.
I remember seeing this on Kickstarter last year but I was in a 2 door JK at the time and couldn't swing the size. I'm building out my Gladatior right now and looking for a tent. Do you have any in depth verified user reviews or videos? I'd love to see some actual hands on experience with it. The...
Interested in that, do you have a source for the pull out hinge piece that the stove sits on? I see the RLD Design camper uses it as well. Looks like a rollover hinge.
Never done it, don't have either. There's a few people that have done it. Easiest way is to have the Softopper in place, measure where the bars go low, and then trace that onto the Decked to cut.
I dropped a swing case and it shattered. Buy the knock off or just get a bin. As for the softopper, it has bars that drop below the bedrail, so you have to cut out a chunk of the deck on both sides. If you want to go this route, the other 3 options for soft tops on the bed do not need this to be...
Do note there is a slight angle on the passenger side, at a reduction of 1" from cab side to rear of front seats. I would cut passenger seat side at 20.5" (rather than the 19.5" listed) and then trim to fit. This is due to how the plastic trim sits, so I would cut it down after depending on how...
You did a great job on the rack. I'm looking into making my extrued aluminum rack in this vein. You mentioned you don't like the way it looks though. Why is that? Also do you have any pictures of it from the front of the jeep? I'm wondering what it looks like square from the front looking back.
I love this and seeing it when I'm about to empty my wallet on the ROR Explor rack, but the rear hatch shuts down using the bed for a lot of applications. Any plans to make a full hatch like the Rebel Off Road rack or campers open all the way? As it stands the one you have with a small opening...
You could just unbolt the top plate of your goose gear and measure from that. Having it out would be best for your install anyway.
I found that with plans to make my own in the next few weeks. I remade the template, attached here. Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize this post was a month old already.
You can use whatever accepts t slots. There's quite a few more than I'm listing below.
