I ended up buying the 270 awning in tan yesterday, and went back to get the 99" tan awning + annex today. The large or XL RTT is too unwieldly and oversized for this. Even the 99" awning is going to be a bit awkward until I settle on how to mount it on one side opposite the 270.
You could always mount it wide. It will overhang but it'll be within the width of the rear fenders by about 1.5". Just realize this would cover up your tailgate when the tent is open.
60.3" inside of the bed while tailgate is closed, ~63.2" including length of tailgate. The large tent here will extend through most of the rear seat door section.
Don't trust this stuff. The metalurgical breakdown is incorrect and its load value is far under stated value. Ran testing in our lab to use this for load testing applications on light end material since it's cheap and we could easily pick it up pretty much anywhere. It bows around 240 pounds and...
I was looking at that just now considering it's just $71. Looks like it's a white brand and different companies just slapping logo on it so OVS and CVT are the same light. But the bag it comes in is huge and the light seems like a big waste of space vs something like the Devos Lightranger. How...
This exactly. It's a rolling advertisement. The fact they put it on the plastic windows really takes this down a few pegs. I wouldn't care about just the one each side near the cab. But it also adds the logo symbol, the logo on the window. The inflatable bed has it 6 times. Just let the quality...
- Love the idea of Gorilla Glass but they fumbled this one. I've heard so many bad stories I'd just avoid it. + You can get it cheaply on any year replacement.
- This is true but pretty much any aftermarket head unit will perform better than either OEM.
- Aftermarket is easy on this, $70 adapter...
Been thinking about doing this with a custom order so I can go from gas Overland to a diesel Sport Max Tow. The financial side just doesn't make sense. I did this 3 times going from JKU to JK to Rav4 to Gladiator and every time I either made money on the deal or was very close to what I paid...
Canopy is putting pressure on the bedside where it sits fully seated above it. All of its weight moves inline with the bed. The problem with rail attachments is when you have a load that isn't anchored or weighed down to the bed, then the weight of that will move separately from the rails. If...
