I recently switched from M/T (Pats) to a X/T (Atturo). When shopping for x/t, I found the Atturo has a deeper lug pattern. So, I went with the more tread.
After work, remembered our mirror defroster is really good. Aftet 10 minutes, 0.250 ice melted right off. Drove home heavy, and right back into garage to thaw. Oh, and took about 2 miles for tires to balance (whop whop whop).
Attached garage, so will be good by morning, but floor will be a mess.
With your current set-up, you could get some rubi flares or chop what you have. Unfortunately, you don't have 2 piece flares, so chop would be more tricky. Either of those options should clear 37x12.5. If you want to stick with 11.5 wide, you should be in even better shape for stuffing em...
@Arthur I had/have a harmonic hum vibration at 55-60 mph back in 2019. Nothing was fixed because they didn't want to replace everything trying to chase it down. Same thing, "it's under warranty, drive it, we'll document it jic something fails". Nearly 100k miles now, and no failures. I feel lucky
Hey @Janster I think you will have better luck with your failures, with a high velocity round. My wife switched to 1640 fps and hasn't had any failure since. The bigger bang forces the slide to do it's thing.
@cdad it really depends on your budget, can you chop fenders, do you want to do minimum for 37's, and type of articulation needed for your 1% off-road DD
Half open top vs. Full open top. In Michigan, I prefer soft top for 50° mornings and 80° afternoon. I found it annoying, in my JK, to pull the panels and store them for the ride home after work. Quickly went to Bestop for year around soft top. Ordered my JT specially with soft top. Some like the...
Green star connector behind glove box will look normal. It's the solder inside that fails. Replaced mine months ago, and no problems since. @Hootbro had a good video on it that made it make sense.
Idk if my 37's made it into this thread, but here's my 2nd set of 37's. Atturo Trail Blade x/t 37x12.5x17. 2.5" front, 3/4" rear, fender chop for articulation.
