I'd go hardcover for the same reason I'd get hood latches and locking gas caps. I unfortunately lack faith in fellow man. Quadratec came out with their own line. They have 4 variants to choose from at a decent price. Will probably buy one once mine gets too beat up
Final update:
I've actually found a solution to my ass woes and in my case the fix totaled over $1k (lol)
Item #1: A full 2" seat slam via Desert Does It
Item #2: Bony ass gel seat by Purple
Item #3: A Bestop Sunrider
This combination is ideal for anyone 6'4 or taller and will not work...
This first one didn't, but the replacement did. There were multiple leaks at the seams and despite finding all of them and patching them it still did not hold air overnight. Haven't had issues with the replacement thankfully.
Thanks for info... I'm fairly confident my batteries are OK. I only wanted to give them a charge due to my short commute + always powered dash cam.
The dash cluster has consistently displayed the battery at 14.7V for weeks on end... I'm figuring between the above combination my battery isn't...
Greetings,
I purchased a 4A Viking battery charger/maintainer (Harbor Freight) and after 4 hours of charging did not see any change according to the charger's LED status.
The charger was set to 12V AGM and was connected to the Neg/Pos posts.. I didn't have enough time to try moving the Neg...
Battery issue w/ my guess being the AUX battery. Depending on how often (or not) the car was driven, 20k miles with an original battery wouldn't surprise me. $100 replacement.
Granite Metallic. I can sneeze and get swirl marks on this truck.. No offroading and it looks like I've driven through an African jungle. My Challenger was the same color and was still pristine after 3 years of ownership.
Am I the only one?
If I'm not mistaking your question, you're essentially looking for an entire safe that will fit within the console. If that's the case, I don't think it exists. I have a Tuffy center console safe and I'm confident in it's security.
You can look into tethered lock boxes that slide & secure to...
Beautiful.. Drive it in good health.
It might be tempting to start modding away but I recommend enjoying the stock ride for a bit. The factory quality ride is great and I've had zero issues whatsoever in my year of ownership.
