  1. Hidden Falls?

Just go with what your comfortable with. Most of the more difficult trails have a bypass if you don't like what you see. You should be fine with most of the level 3's in a stock Gladiator, just stay away from Bronco Buster(And any of the tighter trails through the creekbeds). Everytime I go on...
  2. Skyjacker 4.5” Quality?

The ride won't be better due to control arm angles up front. If you could pick up a set of drop brackets to keep control arm geometry close to stock it would help. I started off with a similar Skyjacker kit on my JL. The ride was also slightly firmer than stock with the factory arm placement...
  3. Skyjacker 4.5” Quality?

The Skyjacker kit with the black max shocks rides nice for the money. I purchased the kit as a temporary solution until more kits become available, but I would have no problem sticking with it on a daily driver. With the shock travel it should do well stretching it's legs offroad as well, but...
  4. Gauging popular style for two bumper variants

I agree with most, number 2 for the added bed protection if you do not have a Rubicon with the sliders.
  5. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I only test fit them with the doors on. We are in the middle of a tropical storm/flooding so it may be a bit before I can pull the doors off. What I've found to be a great blind spot indicator is the Tazer that turns on the camera with the indicators. I can see most vehicles out of the corner...
  6. Texas Rubicon Plastic Bumper, Steel skid, LED foglights

I sold it last week, sorry for not marking it as sold.
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Carolina Metal Masters mirrors, and SPod touch mounted. Now I need to find 8 accessories to wire up to it.
  8. Winch Mount for same for JT as it is JL?

I didn't notice any differences between the JL/JT front bumper mounting. Most manufacturers that sell front bumpers for the JL also market them as compatible with the Gladiator
  9. MPG in the Texas Heat

It probably has a lot to do with how I drive. My buddy has a 2.0t JL with the same wheels/tires and is only getting 12mpg, but he drives fairly aggressive. On my JK's (All 2012+ with the Pentastar) I always averaged better than 16mpg with 37's both in the manual and automatic.
  10. MPG in the Texas Heat

I'm in Houston, and commute mostly outside of traffic hours. With 41" tires, heavy beadlocks and 4.10s(Swapping axles soon) I am averaging 16mpg, but I rarely see speeds above 60-65mph. My daily commute is 19 miles each direction taking approximately 25-30 minutes.
  11. Hardtop vs sottop

I would have ordered the softop if it folded back into the bed. I've always had some variation of a softop on my Wranglers, but can't stand how the factory top on the Gladiator sits up top when open. I know one day I would forget about it and back into my garage with it open. That would be then...
  12. Is The Gladiator THAT Ugly?

I've had several people say they disliked the looks until they looked at them with a small lift and bigger tires. I personally always thought they looked cool, but being a Jeep guy maybe I'm biased.
  13. Daily drive beadlocks and try on before you buy

I've daily driven on beadlocks since 2012. If you are ok with torquing the bolts every month or so then I don't see any downside to driving with them. The only problem you might have is finding a place to balance them. Discount tire will only do it if I bring the wheels off the Jeep.
  14. Husband Gladiator and Wife JL build(s)

The rear are just like the front if you have seen those done minus all the bolts/screws for the Lights. They are fairly sturdy without any sort of support bracket(unlike the front) This was made by another forum member https://smoverland.com/blog/rearfenderchop The only thing I did different...
  15. Skid plates

Same here, if I wasn't holding out for axles I would have their sport cage and skids
  16. Skid plates

    Rockhard 4x4 has some https://www.rockhard4x4.com/category_s/495.htm
  17. Husband Gladiator and Wife JL build(s)

I'm not sure what the forum rules are regarding that? I don't make much if any money posting on the forums, I just do it because I love Jeeps. Becoming a sponsor wouldn't make sense for my small shop. But, if you look at the sticker on my Jeep it gives a decent hint
  18. Husband Gladiator and Wife JL build(s)

-Tazer or Flashcal will handle re-calibration of the speedo, TPMS threshold(I run MUCH lower tire pressures than stock), Gear ratio calibration and much much more (Love my Tazer!) - I always cruise at 65-75mph, being in the city I rarely find the opportunity to go much above that. Our JL has...
