From my experience on our JL's.
I actually prefered the slightly longer first gear with 37's and factory 4.10s on the Rubicon, but 6th gear was next to useless on the highway.
Offroad is where I really struggled with the factory gears and 37's. I had to slip the clutch more than I was...
Yes, one of the best factory upgrades for the JL.
Having owned several JK's and a JL(my wife's) with the halogens the LED headlights were almost a necessity. I have a JL Rubicon with the LED package and the difference in visibility is substantial. Not only can I see what's directly in front...
I understand your concerns. I would take it to the dealer and have them remove those fender inserts since they were the ones that installed everything. I've removed them on several JL's, I can't imagine they changed the mounting for the Gladiator.
I would find a straight edge and measure...
The front driveshaft will need go be replaced with shocks over a certain amount of down travel. Daily driving won't matter, but I ran 12" travel shocks on the front of my JL with the stock driveshaft and it completely deformed the stock joint housing at the transfer case end(3.5-4" lift) on our...
It looks off center to me as well, but could just be the angle of the pics.
Also daystar makes two different isolators. One for the Mopar coils, and another set for "aftermarket" coils. The Mopar coils are notorious for their extreme outwards bow while most aftermarket I've tried are not.
You don't have to cut anything. Just a few bolts/clips holding it in place, completely reversible. We pulled those pieces on my wife's JL sport the day we brought it home.
If they didn't center the steering wheel after the lift I also doubt they centered the axle properly with the new...
Not a JT yet :crying:, but both of our JL's fit with room to spare(82" garage opening).
My white one has 40's and approx 4.5" of lift. My wife's in this picture had 2.5" lift with 35's, but also fit with 37's. We had to switch tops because the factory softop sits 3-4" higher and on warm days I...
Does anyone happen to know if the JL and Gladiator use the same TPMS sensors?
I can't see why they would change them, but I just ordered a set of wheels/tires and have a set of JL sensors laying around the shop I would like to use if possible.
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the thread.
Do you guys mind posting the front numbers? I have a bunch of different height JLU springs laying around. I'm just wondering if any of them will level the truck until I decide on a full suspension(I know the rears won't work).
