Installed a Quake Fender chop kit, and temporarily installed some coil spacers(1.75” front/.75” rear)
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like the Artec liners I ordered will fit the diesel without relocating the windshield washer tank.
I also installed a Bestop Sunrider a few days ago.
Bumpers and...
if your referring to the hood vent/scoops then yes but only as a vent(they include both pieces with the S&B kit if you opt not the run the “ram air” portion.)
I’m sure they will release a intake/ram air kit for the diesel in the future. If so I will be one of the first to jump on it as I loved...
The other guys here at the shop joked that it actually sounds quieter without it lol. I noticed very little(if any) sound increase.
I wanted to be able to reverse any exhaust mods if for some off reason it threw a code. I didn’t mess with that butterfly for that reason.
I really was after the sound, but I’ll take the mpg increase as a win if it stays consistent. I did lose the spare and 30-40lbs of exhaust so maybe that had something to do with it. I’ll put more miles on it and check back.
Had a bit of spare time so decided to remove the rear two mufflers(after all the emissions equipment) and make a turn down pipe in hopes of gaining a bit more sound. I made a new flange for the turn down pipe so I can always go back to stock if need be.
Unfortunately all I did was lose some...
We were happy with our previous fusion axles, but unfortunately when it came to getting a quote we are still waiting for a response.
Dynatrac was was quick to respond and we’ve been happy with their quality in the past so we decided to pull the trigger with them.
Set of Rubicon take off wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors pulled off my 2021 we picked up a week ago. Spare is included
The set was removed at less than 100 miles.

Having built our 3.6l Gladiator we already have a general idea where we want to end up with this build.
I’ve wanted a diesel wrangler since my first JK in 2012 so when it came time to start over the Diesel seemed like the logical choice.
In the first 150 miles the Diesel feels so effortless to...
The value of the take offs are usually about the same as the price difference from my experience(With all the options that matter to me.) And as dumb as it may be with most of the Rubicon parts off the name still holds better resale value than a Sport with the exact same mods.
Now if I didn't...
I’ve always wanted a Diesel Jeep. I didn’t realize how bad until I drove a customers JL with the diesel and 40” tires.
I absolutely loved my previous build but bad blood with a vendor and holes drilled all over the body for their parts made me want to sell it.
I have a set of Dynatrac 60/80...
We've put a few into the 3.6l's and they are a nice setup. Unfortunately they don't have the same setup available for the Diesels (not that I know of at least)
To those with a right hand pull and Toyo MT's have you tried installing the factory wheels/tires and going for a spin?
I had similar issues on my first JK. It had a RK 3 link long arm and drove fantastic with 37x12.50 MTR's. Swapped tires(no other changes) to 37x13.50 Toyo MTs and had the...
