I’ve gone the “muscle memory” route. Every time I press the start button I then right away press the disable ESS button. It’s a pain in the neck but as my JT is leased I may end up trading in for a Rubi if I don’t end up buying this one. Actually, I may end up buying my Sport S because I’m very...
As @DieselDave98 pointed out earlier, Walter Chrysler’s grandson Frank B Rhodes tried to buy at least Chrysler and Dodge but Stellantis said “no.”
Someone mentioned BYD but I believe Congress already negated that idea.
IMHO, we all opted to own incredibly capable bricks on wheels. It’s hard for me to imagine someone getting a JT not knowing the MPG’s aren’t going to be great. I average 18-19 in mixed driving and I’m fine with that. Think of this way, it’s like marrying a 500 pound bride and expecting a weekly...
Greetings @Senex , congratulations, and welcome to the forum! Those Mojave takeoffs look great. Question, aside from the TPMS issue did you experience any other issues in handling or performance adding these larger wheels/tires to a Sport S stock suspension?
Oh yeah, I was humbled by a severe case of break over. Got through it though with a little help from my friends and their impromptu rock ramp and a full send! Truth be told I’m lucky it was only that one bracket.
Not so far and I installed them before winter was over here in Vermont where the salt and brine usage is off the charts. I do wash the undercarriage religiously though.
It’s funny you mention the possibility of damaging them. I bent the second bracket on the driver side during a ride a couple of weeks ago. Stood on the running board and straightened it out but the bracket is toast!
That’s just not right, seems it would have taken little for them to do right by you. I wish we all had sales/servicing dealerships like I have with Goss.
I’ve no idea about your area but I restate my local DCJR sales/service dealership is next to none (Goss DCJR, S. Burlington, VT). I’ve owned many DCJR vehicles and I have zero complaints. In fact, nothing but praise for Goss and the brands.
Agreed, I’ve owned GM’s, Ford’s, Nissan but now exclusively Chrysler brand vehicles since 2006, including 4 Jeeps. I have zero complaints about any of the 11 CDJR vehicles I’ve owned. We have excellent CDJR sales and service dealerships in our area which certainly factors in as well. I do love...
@Brucewillys I suspect that is the way they operate - promise a rebate (gift card) that takes 3 months to receive while they hope we forget about it. I’m done with these crooks and I hope word spreads among the Jeep communities.
Forgive me if I’ve missed the info I’m looking for, but is this a Sport/Sport S without max tow and no leveling kit, 3:73 gears? If so, how pleased or not pleased with this setup?
I’m seeing several swan songs posted lately, and, yes, to some degree I get it. The current powers that be at CDJR suck and they have to step up hardcore, but this is a Gladiator forum, not a so long forum. If you’re here to say goodbye, then say it and move on. I happen to love my 2023 Sport S...
I haven’t checked the torques on all things front end yet but I definitely have to micro manage the steering and it’s a pain in the neck. Notwithstanding, I freaking love my JT!
Follow the link @Gvsukids posted above. I have installed these @ORACLE Terry taillights and in bumper reverse lights. They are excellent quality, absolutely plug and play and incredibly bright.
