They will use a different transmission and full time 4WD transfer case so that will add to the weight. Maybe they should try the 3.0L Hurricane the SO/HO easily outperform the 5.7 and 392.
Jeep marketing I would be interested if the cost was for the 5.7 was $2.5K and the 392 at $5K. Also it would be interesting to offer the SRT tuned 2.0l with 330HP for $1.5K
A 5.7L for the pheasants please I'm not spending 100K. I've had several Dakota's with the 5.2L V8 and 4.7L V8 those engine options didn't have a $20K upcharge it was way less.
I used to have a 2021 Grand Cherokee one time I went long on a oil change 7,400 miles. The oil life meter was at 27% and I drained out 5 quarts from the 6 quart system.
Yes I measured how much oil is drained out. For the next oil change I'll know for sure 5 quarts went in to compare what will be drained. I was pleased the catch can had so little in it somebody was checking ring gaps and cylinder finish at the Trenton engine plant.
Just did my first oil change for the Mojave at 1,050 mile the oil life was 88% this change was for engine break in.
Filled it with 5 quarts of Penzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30 (not a fan of 0W-20) and Mopar MO-349 oil filter.
The good news was no shiny bits in the oil filter the bad news was I...
I've got the plastic front bumper and have not heard it thump when going over train tracks or potholes. I've only noticed the thump with my driveway curb pulling in at a straight approach over 8 mph going at a angle is not a problem and is quiet.
I noticed this too with my 2025 Mojave when pulling into my driveway there is a curb. Anything over 8 mph and it hits the bump stop on the passenger side front. My 2025 JL Rubicon doesn't do this.
My dealer must have gotten lucky the Joose was delivered to them on 7/23/2025. On 7/24/2025 they took it out of shipping mode for my the test drive. I bought it the next day so it wasn't on their lot for very long.
Not that fancy it's ventilation for under the hood like the 2019+ Challenger Scat Pack hood which is the 1st gen Hellcat hood. My JL Rubicon hood is functional too and is great at ventilating heat out.
At first I was going to use the Rubicon 392 hood bezel then learned that the Mojave scoop is a 2 piece design. I removed 2 pins holding the front of the hood insulation to drop it somewhat. Then I removed the 2- 10mm bolts holding the scoop to the hood and unclipped 3 clips in the front of the...
