JMHO………
Personally, I would not use a T-Splice on a pair of off road lights. And 12AWG is rated for, I believe, 20 Amps. 16AWG for 10 amps should be more than enough For what you’re planning on.
Also, I’ve seen t splices not seal up and cause all sorts of problems when they start to corrode...
I have seen (few you tube videos and a few articles) that say that the death wobble thing has more to do with the alignment between the track bar and the drag link. Or more so how parallel they are to each other. When you do a lift, it throws them out of alignment. From each other. At least...
I think Stellantis just doesn’t understand Americans and people who regularly buy Jeeps. Pushing premium packages in the wrangler instead of saving them for the SUVs doesn’t make sense. Personally, I would have loved a Rubicon wrangler or gladiator. But I couldn’t see paying for all those...
The Sylvania’s are an improvement, for sure. Definitely not as good as an LED. But I’m okay with them. I wish I could just toss in any ole LED bulb with a resistor pack like the old days. I got a 2009 Harley that I did that with. Every light , except the head light, has an LED bulb and the LEDs...
Yup. I tried a few different LED bulbs also for my headlights and the high beams never really worked as advertised. I think the OEM design is meant to only work (as intended) with regular bulbs And the LEDs will never reflect correctly. I just ended up settling with the expensive super bright...
Yup….. I also had the Orical flush tail lights. One would slowly fluctuate from bright to dim. And the back up light kit for the rear bumper would barely work with it when using the easy adapter harness. Went back to the OEM halogen. Same thing with after market LED head lights. Maybe there’s...
I’ve looked at those auxiliary tanks also. Boy oh boy are they expensive. Especially the auto-transferring models. I decided to stick with the 4, five gallon gas cans in the bed, that I already had on hand. lol.
I’ve personally done the Toyo’s, Nito’s, and KO2’s. All on Jeeps. Currently I’m running 33" Pro Comp AT sport tires on my 2022 gladiator sport s / max tow. I think they are running around 40k miles so far with 60k factory tread wear warranty. There is still a lot of tread left and they are...
Hello. New member here. Thought I’d share.
So my ride is a 2022 gladiator - Max tow with no lift. I don’t do any overlanding and I don’t do MOAB type stuff. I got an 84 CJ7, if I feel that sort of itch. so no bed or roof top tents or pulling out an entire kitchen from put of the bed. But I do...
