I currently have all three motors available.
1. 2019 JLU eTorque. Amazing power with the e boost supplemented by the turbo. Wife’s Rubicon. Fast as hell. She loves it. Great gas mileage is a bonus. I never understood why an eTorque variant was not offered in the Gladiator.
2. JL Pentastar...
Here’s my take on both:
2019 JLU Rubicon KO2s. Wife’s ride. They handle great. Quiet too. At 50,000 miles, they are nearing the end of their life.
2020 JL (6 speed : ) KO2s. My son’s ride. They are flawless at 10,000 miles. I mounted some 35” Duratracks on Quadrateck Morphic wheels a while...
You are right. Previously, the empty row was lots of JLUs and Gladiators . Two or three of them, I believe, might have been used. I did not look carefully because I was too excited to get going LOL.
Just so everyone knows, however, there is now a severe inventory issue. If you are keeping up, you already know about this. This is how the dealership lot looked yesterday. The only Gladiator pictured is mine.
Tax and title. That’s it. They really really really really would like to sell you an extended warranty in the finance department but yeah understand when you say no thanks.
Up front with the license fee. Lower than the other three dealerships in the valley but I can’t quote the number off the top of my head.
The finance guy did do a quick enthusiastic sales pitch for various extended warrantees. A simple “ no thanks“ had me out the door. No other hidden fees...
Brought the Gladiator home last night.
Great experience with Elliot. Too much good stuff to print here.
He kept me well informed throughout the order process.
All paperwork done on line.
In and out the door unbelievably fast.
PM me with any questions.
I will definitely vouch for Elliott...
Kind of funny. Every diesel Rubicon available on the lots from all of the dealerships in Salt Lake City has the spray in bedliner so they must have been ordered a little earlier.
Here’s another one:

I just got one. Same thing. Same price.
$1,000 seems to be the price which makes sense as that’s the difference between the black hard top and the dual top group.
That’s for a Premium, new in box.
Used, standard top, opened...
Canceled my Costco order and ordered from Elliott at Salt Lake Valley yesterday. Elliott is definitely the guy to work with. Thanks for all the advice above in this thread.
So roughly, rounded up, $42,863?
Wow! That’s a huge help!
Would you happen to have a portion of the sales contract (de-identified for your protection of course) that you could show or PM?
I did. Thank you. Nice guy. I have a problem though. About a month and a half ago, I ordered a Rubicon diesel (pretty loaded) through Costco.
Costco’s dealership is LH Miller for those familiar with the Salt Lake area. Not to bash them but they are far from being the cheapest.
My concern is...
