I’m not reading through 6 pages of stuff but I may have some good info for you. Tonneau cover and bed liner are not avail on the diesel because of the added weight. When I ordered my diesel JTR two weeks ago I reached out to a friend who works for keep within planning and production for the wrangler and gladiator. He was unaware it wasn’t available but after looking into it he said it looks like it was never available and it’s permanently locked meaning it won’t ever be available. He couldn’t get a straight answer but what he was able to piece together is that they are trying to shave any weight they can from the truxk. Every pound counts when you have a 600lb+ added into a truck that affects the tow rating more..
But only on the Rubicon? Strange.
Well, Rubicon is the heaviest trim level. So this theory is plausible. Except, how much does a spray-in weigh? It's equivalent to a gallon jug of paint. 10 lbs? 15?

Kind of funny. Every diesel Rubicon available on the lots from all of the dealerships in Salt Lake City has the spray in bedliner so they must have been ordered a little earlier.

The factory did a good job with the bedliner on my truck. The trail rails were factory installed, so no issues for me with spray in the bolt holes.
Same here - and I put in my own rails and it was pretty simple to clean out the liner that got into those holes. Yes, it was one at a time for a very hyper, impatient person, but I took my time as I wanted it to turn out nice - and STRONG, and all is well. No overspray, all areas that should be covered are covered and when I installed the ladder on my tail gate, I got to see just how hard and tough that stuff really is, and thick, too. I'm fine with mine.

Yessir, No explanation. It's at my local shop to get bedliner tomorrow. Owner met me on Easter Sunday, talk about customer service. Headliner is in my cart on Ebay. The diesel and Rubicon package are both worth it. I'm just gonna deal with it and move forward. :like:

Line-X the bed after delivery and purchase the Mopar headliner from ebay. You'll save $$.

And they probably won't fill those threaded holes with bedliner........

I debated for some time about headliners during the wait for my JTM to arrive. After reading many posts about excessive noise in the cab, I expected the worst. But the truth is that I was surprised that cab noise wasn't that bad at all for a thin removable fiberglass roof.

So, it came down to either the Covercraft (full coverage), Hotheads or Mopar factory. The Covercraft seemed thin and labor intensive to install. Hotheads seemed okay but had that aftermarket look. It also had a split rear upper liner and no cab corners coverage.

I decided on the Mopar headliner as it had form fitting rear roof corners, full upper rear roof coverage and just looked more like a factory designed unit (as it should). I took it one step further and cut Kilmat sound deadening into strips and applied into the roof channels before the liner install with great results.

They plugged the threaded holes with what looked like rubber golf tees. Clean result.
Sounds like the silicone tapered plugs I use for powder coating. Nothing sticks to them and if it does, just flex them and it pops off.

Retarded...err... I mean Retired

The cut off must have been around the first of the year. My jtrd had the factory liner I ordered, and when I picked it up the salesman said "you're not supposed to have that" Build date was 1/22.

Defi early better to get the bed Line-X afterwards anyways. Yes, more of a pain to have to drop off the truck but worth it. I built my JTRD April 2021 and it was not avail for me either.

For the headliner do not get the mopar. Get the @Hothead Headliners brand… way better!
