No there is no reason to buy local. I live in Orlando...and ordered my JT from TriCity in NC. No dealer near me would come close. I will be picking up the JT this Friday....thus far everything has been done thru email.

Well she arrived at dealer today...now the really tough part...waiting til Friday to pick it up.

I thought the waiting for the JT to be built was gonna be the hard part....its actually the lack of updates while its on a train/truck on way to dealer =P

1) Retractable Mesh/Sunshade from Bestop that works w/Sunrider for Hardtop....like they have for the JK. But considering they have not made one for JL, I doubt it will come to pass. Bestop rep even posted recently that they are not willing to put capital into making them for limited customer...

Don't have my JT yet but in my JK i always get waved at...JTs...other JKs...JLs...even a few Renegades.

Yeah should be nice. I have family in Charlotte which about 2hr south of dealer so will be spending a few days...showing off...err "visiting" before trip home.

My Punk'n JTR got put on train last week...ETA to dealer 1/10 - 1/24. :) Will be flying up to NC to take delivery then driving her back home to Florida :)

Wasnt as bad as i had originally thought....Ordered 11/29, put on train 1/9. Should be at dealer before 24th. So not quite 2mo.

I do not like reading about this problem... Should be getting my JT soon....I live in Florida....for me there is only two settings for a HVAC....off or MAX AC. I cannot recall the last time in any car I have used "heat" of any sort. I guess defrost from time to time would count? I better be...

Lived in Florida all my life....I and family just use to using w30 in pretty much everything....5w30 or 10w30.

So for Florida climate(i.e hot and sticky)....stick with recommended 0w20?

I bought the wrong vehicle to be worried about MPG. I only care about smooth and reasonable. And at my age...frequent stops to get fuel is almost a necessity =P

I agree, he is really helping with my anxiety for this order. Thou I seem to be stuck in JB for going on 2weeks now...time to relax =P

Well my last 3 vehicles have been Wranglers.....I don't know what +80 MPH is =P My 2dr JK feels like its gonna fall apart at around 65. I don't see myself going faster than 70-75 in the JT.
