Actually, I do see a TON of wranglers but i'de say 90+% of them are JKs. Surprisingly small # of JLs considering they been out now for going on 3 years. I wonder how JK sales @ 3 years compared to JLs at 3 years.

Yeah I was hoping for mid-late Jan...but given my ETA for build is not until 1/3....I am probably looking at late Feb at best.

Hmm....my wife's Renegade TH sorta had this "feature" but was able to disable it via one of the Uconnect settings menus. Probably different than the JT since the Renegade has electric parking break which would engage anytime tried to go into reverse with door open.

Hmm, in every Jeep I have owned(Cherokee, TJ, JK....ive always been stopped and in N when switching into 4L. As far as I can tell, I never caused any problems or dmg being stopped when going into 4L. As for 2wd to 4h...its always been pretty much anytime I need while at reasonable speed.

I think in my usual area of travel around where I live...I might in total have seen 5 or 6 JTs since launch.

While I would probably support a kickstart....I do wonder about their reasoning for not having one (# of JLs -vs- # of JKs)....I mean they have the Sunrider for JL/JT which would be the same number of potential customers than for the sunshade. They already have the sunshade for JK...so really...

Ordered 11/29...D1 on 12/11 ...still D1 as of today. Build ETA 1/3.

Yeah, it is interesting reading these threads and seeing just how much variety there is in peoples build times. Way things are going for me...im probably looking at late Feb or March. :(

While I have yet to take delivery of my JT....I did order it with Hard Top. Will be my first "wrangler" with a Hard Top. I do plan to get the Bestop Sunrider. But truth be told...I doubt I will ever take the back part off. And while its silly...I just did not like the way the JT soft top...

Forget to put doors or top back on? :LOL: The two JTs I test drove seemed pretty air tight.

I would expect the JL version of the one you linked would work.

According to Jeep Chat...my order hit D1 on the 12/11th. But thus far no build sheet or sticker...not sure when it suppose to "show up". Probably be in D1 til Feb at the earliest is my guess.

Combo works for me as well.

I would support such a effort assuming as others have said the price is reasonable (i would guess $200 max) and time frame to completion is reasonable. I know of at least 5 others where I work that would probably jump on it once they saw mine =P I would show it off any chance I could. :)
