We picked up our Sting Gray JT last Friday. Travis and his team were great. There was some confusion on taxes paid to the State of Georgia. Once I pointed it out, Travis got it corrected and new numbers run. It was $1800 in my favor. So check things closely for your state. Overall a good...
Here are some pics when I stopped to set the tire pressure correctly. They were way overinflated and darn near dangerous at highway speeds. And yes I carried a tire gauge with me from GA. I am the Tire Guy.
I am renting a 2019 JLU Wrangler this week in Indy. Yes the key fob is massive and both fobs have the gap. I can't believe that Jeep thinks this is OK and not a problem.
I think Travis may have a Sting Gray Rubicon with tan interior on the way that is unsold. It was my original order that had the wrong color interior. I wanted black. Might be worth a call to him.
Considering how many builds people are waiting on you would think they are holding until they get caught up on the open colors. But who knows? We don't!
Coming home from our Saturday morning bike ride we chanced upon a lifted JLU with doors and tops off frantically picking up stuff in the road on a right hand turn lane. Apparently as they made the corner at speed several items went out all the open area. Centrifugal force can be a real bitch!
I had the same thought about a lighter color wheel on the darker body colors like Sting Gray. My company paints or powder coats wheels so I can get them done at minimal cost. I will want to see some others before I pull the trigger.
I took She Who Must Be Obeyed to the local Jeep dealer to pick a color from all the JLs on the lot. We looked at them all. She picked the Sting Gray and I am very glad. My top 3 were Sting Gray, Red or Silver. I rented a Granite JL on a business trip and it just looked black to me.
