It depends on your needs. If you need the larger bed, have to tow heavy loads and don't care about fuel economy, keep the Tundra. If you want more fun and friends go with the gladiator.
Reasons to get the gladiator: its better looking, it is bigger inside, the bed is bigger, you will get better gas mileage (mine is way better than my 2015 off road), the tops come off, it rides firmer, the alpine audio is way better than anything toyota offers.

No doubt you could devise a rack that did not damage the doors but there are a couple of hurdles. One is the doors don't balance well, they want to roll one way or another, the second is how much space you have with just the 4 doors and no padding you are over 30 inches.
