Why not just go on FBMP and find a set of 4?
This ultimately sets a chain reaction where you’ll eventually only be replacing 2 of 4 tires every time.
Also, like others have suggested, rotating tires every 5k is a good idea too. It’s not that hard.
Hey all,
For those of you running Patagonias, from my understanding is that due to the design, the tire would technically “crown”.
The center is more AT oriented when aired up to cruising PSI, while when aired down, the sides which are more MT oriented creates a larger contact patch.
I’ve got...
I actually have a RTT waiting to be mounted. We bought it for the Tundra, but never got around to mounting it on…
Hopefully this year we can get a bed rack and mount the RTT onto it!
Looking for some Maine camping trips with my family.
I’m probably thinking about eventually wheeling it a good amount.
I’m going to do some research to build the Gladiator to be able to sit on 38s and possibly 40s.
I know it’s going to be a lot of parts, but if I can get some stuff for the 38s, maybe it’ll be able to carry over to the 40s...
Yeah, totally agree on that. Cosmetically sound, it looks good. But superior protection from those damn ghost riding shopping carts, probably not too much.
Maybe 0 offset beadlocks with 38s will deter those pesky carts.
That’s on the list. The rock rails that came with the Rubicon is nice since it’s tucked in close to the frame.
We had sliders on the Tundra too. So definitely need something that’ll bolt on nicely to the frame for armor and also steps once we get into the 2.5-3” range of lift.
My wife can...
We’ve been thinking about a rail system on the dash to hold some Qi chargers. But what’s great about the Rubicon is the wireless Apple CarPlay with the option to connect multiple phones… man it’s so nice to have.
Agh, I’m itching for one now. Which one do you guys have? That DV8 one is nice, seems like everyone is recommending MORE.
What about some Amazon ones that look good and just as functional?
My Rubicon came with the Cargo group with trail rail system so luckily I was able to have a roll up tonneau with bedliner installed from factory!
I don’t think I’d be able to have a truck without tonneau or bedliner… saved me the headache of having to buy one from Amazon and making an...
I actually have the Mopar Headliners installed as an option. Definitely a nice touch to the interior and actually makes the inside feel complete.
We’ve driven Wranglers and Gladiators without that headliner and it definitely is nice to have it. Slightly sound deadening but aesthetically pleasing.
I would like to know for those of you who have Rubicon, what was something that you guys felt was a necessary mod?
Aside from tires and a lift.
What improved your overall experience with your Rubicon?
I’m planning to keep mine stock for about a year, take it on a couple of trips, and then...
Probably not the additives in the Ravenol itself, but smoothness of the t-case shifting through 2H-4H-4L.
Then again, when I shifted into 4H in my Gladiator, could really tell much… it’s so quiet.
Definitely appreciate all the in depth responses. I’m not here to start any debate on which oil is best.
I actually ran 0w-20 in my Tundra only until recently when I did the switch and noticed the improvements. It’s not to say that I’m going to immediately switch over. But just trying to grasp...
